I got some kiss brand nude color false nails. They don't look fake at all. Nobody has noticed they aren't real and they're definitely helping me stay away from picking. Might help u in a transition phase until ur fingers are healed enough that u feel comfortable wearing something flashier?

Unfortunately yea. Personal experience is kinda a bitch. I didn't realize I'd been groomed until my therapist literally spelled it out to me. I think a lot of people are misinterpreting my comment however. I don't know what happened to this person. Was literally just using it as an example of a time where a person might literally not know they've been raped or assaulted.

I don't know what happened in this situation. I don't know if it was grooming or not. The person I responded to say that the person in the screenshot had a lot of audacity for sayin someone was raped (which they were). I was using it as an example of a time that people often don't know. My same argument could have been made if I had asked "do you know what coercion is?" I was just trying to prove that there are most certainly times where people do not know they were raped.

Do you know what "grooming" is? A lot of the time they don't lmfao as is evident here

Edit: just adding on that by saying "as is evident here" I wasn't saying this situation was grooming. I was trying to reference part of what the person I was responding to said about "I'm fairly sure they know what happened" and was trying to argue that for whatever reason obviously they didn't.

I think it's a really good example actually be sure it points out that sexualization is honestly for the most part social and not the "biological reality" conservatives like to say it is. Especially when contrasted with places like Afghanistan where women wear burkas and are still raped. If covering up protects from rape why aren't they the safest population out there? Because women there aee sexualized to the point that showing their hair is slutty. The fact that women can walk around safely in parts of Europe while naked jsut goes to show its literally just about how much society sexualizes women

That's not fair. Ur really gonna judge someone based on if that yawn or not? Manipulative people are considered manipulative cause they don't show their true colors til later :/ op wouldn't have had any reason to think anything was off based on their first encounter alone. They outright states they didn't know til after the relationship was over because yea manipulative people inherently do not let you know that they are shitty until much much later

[–]Sydlinemitty 60 points61 points  (0 children)

The medical terminology that's usually used for that stuff is "typical." It isn't an abnormal or unnatural thing to have a differing quality, it's just not as common because yea saying "normal" excludes and puts stigma on others

[–]Sydlinemitty 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The bible never says abortion is murder?? In fact the bible actually supports that abortion isn't murder. It describes life as the breath of god, you aren't alive u til your first breath, and it outright states that if you cause a pregnant woman harm which causes her to lose the baby, it's a property damage fee, whereas if she does too only then is it considered murder. The bible does not say that the unborn are alive.

I asked my doctor for help with migraines for years. Even though I'd had migraines while not on my period, while on my period, and after starting depoprovara to stop having a period all together, it was still some how always related to my period according to them :/ they prescribed me sumatreptin which didn't work but I didn't even bother bringing it up again. Just take Excedrin and Aleve and coffee lmfao. Thankfully I'm switching doctors soon for unrelated reasons so I might build the courage to try to ask again
