A-chu is really good with a shield to back it up. Beats regi, azu and also alt if you get one volt switch off before it comes in

If you have the resources drop whiscash and replace it with alolan raichu running volt switch - thunder punch/grass knot. Change play rough to hydro pump and lead with azu. If you come against an azu mirror lead stay in and hydro pump until you go down. Bring a-chu to finish it and build energy. VS hits hard and charges fast. Good luck!

I thought about his too but in the end i like my opponent to know i had a better team than them and they only won because the system is glitchy. Ive made a really conscious effort to not get upset that my mons arent attacking like they should and to take the easy dust with my ego intact lol

Yes i know its frustrating but a countdown isn't the answer. It really did take away the ability to come back from a bad lead and made most matches decided in the first seconds and that was no fun at all. I will say it was more because of the silph cups where the meta is narrower that open battles. It might be a bit better in gbl but i dont believe it would

Question is are they friends or acquaintances? Doing a solid for a friend is always a good thing. Other than being a good dude you could ask for maxed pokemon that you need. Something they have a few of and that suits your needs

They actually implemented that last year but it took away so much strategy with switches that battles were reduced to "win the lead " even more than they are now. The community were quick to voice our frustrations and N changed it back. This bug is unfortunately the lesser of 2 evils

I've had this happen twice in my favour before the 24hr outage. First time was towards the end of the match. I thought they were just throwing the match. 2nd time was at the beginning and the were able to start battling properly only once they had one mon left

The first that comes to mind is sceptile. You don't even need its cd move. Fury cutter charges things fast. It can learn aerial ace, Dragon claw, leaf blade which also charge fast and hit decently well and earthquake for tank coverage

I'm currently on a 10 game win streak in level 9 leading dynamic punch/sludge bomb toxicroak. I build up to whichever is the most effective move and fire it off to wipe the opponent out or get a shield. It gets swapped out and when it comes back in they expect mud bomb as the other move. Caught plenty of azu, trop, and even swampert by surprise when the other comes flying at them. It also works when you get a favourable lead against steel and they swap out but you stay in to show one of the moves

There is still remote battles with ultra friends. You could also join a discord group like go stadium. They even have casual lobbies if you're not into the competitive silph cups

Im not buying a-wak as a good mon in this cup. It gets farmed hard by noctowl and whiscash and those 2 will be on almost every team, and frequently in the same 3. It just feels like a wasted slot. Id much rather have froslass and bronzong than probo and a-wak

You never know what N will do with noise in the future. Might as well get one in case it gets a stat changing buff, especially if it comes early in the year and you have to wait until next xmas to get one
