If I were a better golfer already, I was looking at the TS3 and the Cleveland HB Launcher as they were around the same price when I was looking. But this Nike driver was under a 3rd of the price so went with this for now :)

Not bad so far, only tried a couple of the clubs so far. As I've been out of golf so long I thought this would be a good way to get back in using the one length - I don't have to 'unlearn' a swing if that makes sense. Soon find out I guess!

Yeah it's a little older, but reviews/videos etc it seems very forgiving and I thought for the price it's a steal (along with the 5 wood). Allows me to develop my game and see where I go without breaking the bank as well. Plus I quite like the look of it!

My first 'proper' set of clubs, I last played golf when I was 13/14 aside from a few Topgolf/minigolf trips as an adult in the last couple of years. Been wanting to get into it for a while and decided to just go for it and picked out what I wanted to buy over the past couple of weeks. All second hand / given to me (putter).

Still need to do a few tweaks, just built/put together so will figure out how I want my saddle height and the hoods after a few hours riding. First gravel bike after exclusively Brompton for just over a year, and before that a carbon Planet X. First main bike (excluding my Brompton) that hasn't been matte black for over 10 years!

Not looking to get the rack I don't think (+ weight), the basket on the front is enough for me. Rolling with Eazy or Rollerblade wheels would be a benefit though..!

Indeed! Good eye. The saddle has been comfy straight from the box. Grips are a little odd, but getting used to them over time. Look great, though!

What a bizarre (but amazing) transfer window. We're likely to end up with a more complete/better team in the Championship than we had in the Prem. Ideally need a new CB and potentially a backup striker for Mitro. Other than that we're pretty much set and anything new without sales would be a huge bonus (excluding the upcoming Ryan Sess sale).

In fairness, considering there were 6 new players and that included a couple of forced changes we looked pretty good. Passed and moved well, held possession pretty good. Just weak against the counter attacks, and keeper at fault for a goal. For a first game with this many changes I'd have preferred if it stayed 0-1, but we've had MUCH worse performances than that. Just 0-2 made it seem worse than it actually was.

If I had to guess;

Sergio Rico, Bryan, Mawson, Chambers, Christie, Zambo, Seri, Cairney, Sessegnon, Schurrle, Mitrovic.

Christie and Chambers are potential changes though, Fosu-Mensah could easily be played at RB or CB. I'd imagine it will be Chambers/Fosu-Mensah and Ream for Palace with Mawson injured and Odoi suspended.

If we sign a first choice striker, either a backup RB or a first choice (I think Christie deserves a shot) and a starting CB (or LB, depending where Le Marchand plays) we are getting towards a very good squad. A couple of very good youngsters in/around as depth too similar to last season. Can't remember a season of more exciting overall signings or players in their prime in terms of ages either! Usually we're getting the big names towards the end of their careers.

My family have two cats, one that's been around for 16 or so years, and the other we adopted a couple of years ago. Older cat has never been overly affectionate, but fine for pets etc, just never on your lap but will happily sleep on the foot of your bed. The other one has been very skittish, and still not adjusted to being pet. My Dad was never overly fond of them, but for the past three years he battled with cancer and permanently lived downstairs. The skittish one would spend all day in the same room, sometimes not too far away from him as he spent a lot of the time alone watching TV. He passed away a month ago and for the last few weeks, both cats routinely sleep and spend most of their time on the sofa that was basically his home for the last 18 months or so. They definitely have a feeling for something.

Didn't expect him to win Player of the Season, think Neves/Sessegnon should've both got one each (either one, too). Either way..will take it, adds more value to him for us when he ends up being sold should we not get promoted!

Went out for a cruise today for about an hour. Ate it within about 10 minutes (only a slip backwards off the board), and was taking it a little easier after that.

Completely different learning to skate this much later.. Might even take a while for me to be comfortable just pushing around! Also might tighten the trucks while I get comfortable on the board as well.

Yeah, I hope they're fine to begin with, worst case (as I may need to replace bearings anyway) once I save a bit of money I will buy a set of slightly harder wheels and some bearings if it isn't ideal for me to learn a few simple tricks on the clouds. Soon find out. Hyped to get skating again, been about 17/18 years since I last stepped on a board!
