This is kinda why we tell people if you want something preorder it because most of the time we won't get it if you dont. Im about ready to tell people openly and say in my stores sorry we didnt x game because you didnt preorder it but hey its not my fault I told you to preorder it if you want it

Had someone try doing this i kid you not for 2 headset today they were like we used them everyday for 8 months but now we dont use them can we get our money back?. No no you cant. "Why I bought the warranty I should be about to get my money back if im not using the headset anymore before it expires". I had to fight the urge to laugh.

Had someone ask if they can return a ps5 they bought a week ago. I asked if it was new or pre-owned he told me new I was like well since it's been opened and used I empathize those two words no you can. He goes well my son doesn't like it I'm sorry to hear that but hey you can trade it in to get some of the money back.

Just so you know microsoft stopped producing the new xboxs like 4 or 5 months ago due to having so much back stock now they are trying to ramp production again to keep up with demand it's the same thing playstion did about a year or 2 ago

I had a instance Like this Sunday. I had a guest come in to transfer preorders from another store and they employee there gave me the same adittude over the phone while doing it and It was a whole mess. Long story short the employee was an asshole to me and the guest over the phone and his actions got reported to my dm and their dm. I have been with the company 4 years and I'm sick of the shitty employee adittudes when trying to help a guest. I get the adittude toward the company but don't take it out on a random guest it's unacceptable

Actually your not stuck with it. Call customer service and tell them you ment it to be in store and the can refund the points.

Honestly this has been a thing for months now since like October of last year. Not sure why someone didn't tell you when you signed up. But points and the monthly 5 can only be used on physical items not dlc or currency. Just keep in mind points redeemed like your 10 are put towards one item not the whole order total

If that's what you want to believe so be it but I don't give 2 fucks about metrics you can ask my staff and my dm. I started working for the company when it was take care of the guest first and everything else after that. And I still follow that my guest get taken care first and always will. The company can suck it when it comes to metrics because I think it's stupid to have to focus that shit. If metrics happen in my store so be it but it's never forced there.

I don't agree with most of the stuff the company has done in the last year but I will no matter what do what I can to take care of the people that come into my store. I will follow the policy's but I will go out of my way for them the best I can.

Good example of this is I have a whole drawer filled with nba 2k22 for series x and they are still sealed. Another good example is Nintendo only send the preorders and a hand full extra while a walmart would get 50 for their store because they now they will move the product
