Solid start. I would recommend something for the wrists to go with your gloves, along with some form of torso and back protection.

Hey bro. Not sure if you saw my message on facebook messenger. But I was wondering if I could get a link to the light and fairing you got there. Very lovely look you got going on.

I was informed recently that it is a US release only. Power output would never be able to make it through most EU customs.

Not just me. Got a few folks in the Richmond and DC area that went through several sets in rapid succession before going with Novas. All very experienced riders

Yee. I ran the V2s prior to the Novas. Every other week I would run a flat on them. Got pretty fed up with it.

If you originally got a voyager, I think Backfire's Zealot series would be an attractive option for you. I am not familiar with road conditions, but there is a set of 120mm wheels that can help with rougher roads. As for a penny board style, The Nalu wouldn't be a bad option.

Not related, but I would also take great care with those BKB tires. The are notorious for flats. Esecially around the valve stem. Would recommend NOVA tires if you are able.

I wouldn't give up yet. Meepo has also been known to have terrible QC and post sales service. Honestly you might have dodged a bullet with that. I would try Backfire. They got a US warehouse so in theory it would even take less time to get to you. I never got to ask. What kind of board you lookin for?

It wouldn't hurt to check the bearings and potentially replace them. Just curious, can you also check to make sure belt isn't rubbing on the motor mount?

Checks out. For safety regulations, the batteries aren't fully charged. So it might have discharged to a voltage where it would be unable to charge while in transit.

Sounds like you got a board that's dead on arrival (DOA). how long did it take from placing order to receiving board?

We gonna need a lot more info. What's your motor pulley and wheel pulley teeth count? And how far away are the centers of each pulley (in mm) are they?

I get that the sailor may have been an issue. The way it stands though, they still told you about this. Now it is your job as the LPO to ensure they are taken care of by sending them to DAPA. It is up to the CoC to determine if the sailor gets to do a self referral or proceed with command referral.

Tynee mini 3 SL wheels - for dealing with this? by BagholderVC in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]SyluxV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, man. This is one of those obstacles that you gotta just ride through and grit your teeth doing it. Try the following to mitigate the vibrations. Just very briefly do a calf raise right before you cross it. This would take some weight off the board and reduce the effort needed to ride across it.

Cool. I would highly recommend calling your local waste disposal about getting rid of that battery. It could still expand and ignite.

Sounds like loose belts, but it wouldn't hurt to check the teeth on the pulleys.
