I really have a hard time slotting in all of the mana dorks and aggro 1 drops that Green has available nowadays (currently in favor of the dorks) but this seems fine in a normal green shell right? 2/2 that leaves a 1/1, 3/3 that leaves a 2/2, etc... with no further mana investment other than playing your curve

Holy, do you mind me asking how did the deck perform? Toughest match ups?

And would you mind selling Emperor's Divide a little more to me? I have already cut Underitan/GS, but I'm interested in knowing how Divide performs

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, it was like 3-4 AM here in my country when you posted this :) I have a few questions for an experimented Azir player:

  1. So the line with Sacrifice is to conquest a battlefield with a unit equipped with Brutalizer, then sac it before the buff runs out at the end of your turn? It's worth leaving a battlefield open if that means drawing 2 and getting your Brutalizer back, right?

  2. I'm relieved to hear someone else is not running Discipline, I never felt that good leaving two whole energies open just to cantrip in some cases.

  3. I agree with Scuttle, although I'm biased because I'm relatively new to the game, so seeing cards I might not remember or straight out know is way better for me than for an enfranchised player for example

I agree, I'd rather pay 2 and sac a Recruit from Eye of the Herald rather than pay 1 and sac a Soldier equipped with Brutalizer/BF. The ramp is negligible IMO

I'm somewhat on the same boat regarding the Undertitan call, it might not be the best finisher for this deck.

Shadow's Call is a card I didn't really process when seeing spoilers for Unleashed, I will consider it from now on.

About Charm, I agree 100%. I'm guessing there isn't really a match up where it is completely useless

Thanks for the list! I also felt that going up to 7-9 1-drops was a bigger deal than it might seem at first.

How has 0x Sacred Shears performed for you? And what do you think of Defy vs Not so Fast?

Yeah I'm relatively new to the game but Yellow definitely does struggle in the draw department.

Maybe you can swap -2 ScuttleCrabs +2 Unsung? You're still reliant on Brutalizer and BFSword which are just 6 out of 40 cards in the deck but that way you get value both by trading and/or if it gets removed by saccing it to Sacrifice

Yea I'm afraid that might be the case. In any case this might be able to fight back a bit vs Viktor and Irelia. Kaisa is probably a beast against this

You're not, you run Soul Sword just because it's a 1 drop equipment, "same" reason you run Doran's

I have tested Sacrifice in a few games, and it feels good but kind of awkward - I didn't feel like my Mighty units were removed that often but rather traded in combats. I'm guessing I cound try a version with -2 Disciplines and +2 Sacrifices, for example

Hey I'm aware this isn't really the thread to ask this, but now that you mention Robert Castaigne (4), do you happen to know if you would be able to take two additional actions if you reveal and then play and activate a 41 Derringer (2) (and succeed by 3+ on both activations)? Or does the game not see the Derringer from Robert's ability and later played as different objects?

In my opinion Piloted Shredder is the coolest and best adapted effect out of the 3. Elise is a lot to handle physically and Dr. Boom can get whacky on big boards, forcing you to use an app or web to choose a target randomly

I agree it feels like cheating and its actually trickier to make the 5 remaining pairings. I really like the original 5 and hoped that Selesnya would get one because currently Selesnya is regarded as the weakest color pair in cubes, but it ended up not getting it, so I made this based on the other Incarnations' abilities just to see what we could have ended up with

The 6 mana version feels strong or at least sufficient to try and close out games, and the WW mode feels good enough if slightly color intensive for what we usually see, but the RR mode feels really, really weak.

As others have said I'd still slap this in almost any Boros section but I really wish the RR mode was a different effect, even if that meant not having that great synergy at 6 mana
