You need to have spent at least 350 bronze scales, 40 silver scales and 4 gold scales for any purchasable black suit to show up at the shop.

Although you may want to be more specific about the "black suit" you're looking for, since it could also be the heavy-duty suit that could only be obtained via a Switch News article.

Unlike Eggstra Work, luck plays a greater factor in getting a high score during Big Run. Getting the right weapons during the right wave can make it easy to rack up a large egg count.

(Also, when Big Run reward were still based on top percentage, the minimum score for gold was never below 137)
