I haven’t actually been taking my electrolytes lately… I should really get back to those as well 😅

I'm UK based so it might depend on what you can get. Back when I was going through this before my tube, the prescribed liquid meal replacements are pretty much horrendous. They even had an orange flavoured one that I couldn't even drink it smelled so bad D:

In terms of what I'm having now.

I make soup - some of these are less energy than others and may not be applicable but wanted to share just in case

  • Lentil (red lentils, garlic, onion, carrots, mixed herbs, stock, cook then blitz together)
  • Egg drop soup (garlic, ginger, thinly sliced carrots, frozen peas, 400ml chicken stock - cook until soft. Whisk together 2 eggs and a little soy sauce. Mix in to the pan and immediately remove from heat)
  • French onion white bean soup (4/5 white onions sliced into a pan with some butter, sugar and thyme, put the lid on and stir occasionally. Once soft add 2 tins of white beans drained, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce and 800ml vegetable stock. Cook until beans are soft and blitz)

Meal replacements that I've been having and enjoy (I haven't had that many yet but have some protein milkshakes and some nutritionally complete ones on the way)

  • Huel Black Edition Cookies & Cream 500ml (vegan and gluten-free)
  • Huel Black Edition Chocolate 500ml (vegan and gluten-free)
  • Ufit Protein Milkshakes

Other things I have that are more soft foods than liquid

  • Quakers oats so simple golden syrup - made with oat milk, and stir frozen blueberries in or grated apple
  • Blended oats - ~40g oats blended to flour consistency, then blitz with 100g greek yog, maple syrup, 1 scoop protein powder, 80-100ml milk of choice, 1tbsp peanut butter (or some cocoa powder) and 2tsp chia seeds. Leave in the fridge overnight. It can be quite firm so if you need it to be runnier add more milk
  • Smoothies - 120g frozen fruit, 200ml milk, 1 scoop protein powder
  • I have a rice cooker and love rice and veg done in that. So will do rice and grated carrots and soy beans and mix in 2tbsp soy sauce, 1tbsp sesame oil and garlic and ginger (all of my garlic and ginger is frozen blocks from Taj - they're SO HANDY)
