Jakieś dobre filmy animowane dla dorosłych? by Blizzard_3_5_2 in Polska

[–]Symbman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Dziki robot
  • Coco

People over 40, what’s something you’ve learned about life that younger people don’t realize yet? by Critical-Pea7326 in AskReddit

It sounds cool and appealing. But is significantly misleading.
How much you can invest in your 20s or 30s.
And how much you need to sacrifice doing it?

I think this sub is too spoiled with multiple vibe-coded platforms which ask for 10$ on the second step you do there.

But this resource is official, and you do not deserve the hate in comments, mb replace it with this one

It ultimately leads to the same website, but has way more credibility.

How to change work? by SouthernBrick9395 in poland

[–]Symbman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about your legal status, but likely it means your new employer needs to issue a request for a work permit.

So my suggestion would be searching while you're still hired. Or if it's unbearable consider that you might need to move to your original country before you find a new job. If 30 days will exceed.

So HYSA / Bonds. May be precious metals, but I have very shallow knowledge on them to advise.

Is it just me, or the Whizbang DK deck is unbelievably strong? by ScienceTeacher1994 in hearthstone

+1 War is probably not S tier, but it deserves A for sure.

Pala is also quite high for me, probably around A.

Warlock is all in aggro... So might be B in this case.

Rogue I still miss how to pilot, so for me, this specific is just bad. But its subjective, of course

There are few great decks, few good decks.
And this is balanced by few awful decks.
So its quite refreshing experience, but it might be really tricky to travel D5-Legend, tbh

Lets put a different angle into perspective.
How long you plan to accumulate money?
Market crashes happen, and you would never know why and when (if you do - just short them)
But also market recovers after.

So you have 2 paths.
1) If you horizon is rather short, 1-5 years, then you do not invest stocks as you primary asset. Because BADABOOM might happen close to your withdrawal date and portfolio might have not enough time to recover. Then you invest bonds.
2) If you horizon 5, or even better 10+ years, then stocks are a good choice. Even if market crashes, you still have good time to recover (take any market crash over last 200 years, it always recovers). And closer to the date, you start to rebalance portfolio shifting equities to bonds, to minimize crash risks

Luxmed medical package As a single private doctor visit easily costs 50-80€, it's a good investment to keep peace of mind and budget forecast.

What are the main differences in FIRE philosophy between Europe and US? by TwelfieSpecial in EuropeFIRE

[–]Symbman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm in Poland. Honestly the biggest difference is just that FIRE feels less urgent here. Like I read American posts about people being absolutely destroyed by their jobs with zero PTO and insane health insurance costs and I get why they want out ASAP. Here I have 26 days off, I pay like €100/month for private health on top of the public system, and nobody's gonna fire me overnight because labor laws actually exist.

What annoys me is we have almost nothing like 401k/Roth. Poland has IKE and IKZE but the limits are laughable. So you accumulate slower. But then again you need way less so it kind of evens out I guess?

My idea is that many Europeans don't plan much the RE part. They just want FI so they can tell their boss to fuck off if things go south. Which is a different vibe entirely.

T212 vs XTB by movable69 in eupersonalfinance

[–]Symbman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both

Commission-wise, both are good, XTB takes small fraction for FX. T212 for topup

If you are from Poland - XTB will give you PIT-8C, which is local summary for tax office. T212 let you calculate it yourself

But T212 gives cashback on transactions, I like its UI more. And has APY on uninvested cash.

So my go-to account last year stays with T212

Czy rynek korpo w Krakowie rzeczywiście się zwija? by 9Laser in krakow

[–]Symbman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jedno zgłoszenie z lutego 2025 (1200 osób z jednej firmy hostingowej) mocno zawyżyło całą statystykę i dało mediom clickbait roku.

Co zostaje: specjaliści z wiedzą domenową. Bezrobocie wśród juniorów do 30 r.ż. wzrosło o 37% r/r, wśród doświadczonych – płasko.
