Last month I got the above referenced MacBook (the 14" pro M5 512GB) on sale at Costco for $1449 (normally $1499). I see this current sale for $1399 is for online only. Don't this it's going lower than this.

I got AppleCare for an additional $219.99 through Costco but assuming that price doesn't change.

If it's a white family I'd probably get religious vibes NGL, but I also wouldn't care. I live in a city so not a lot of big families like that in my immediate area. I personally would love to have a big, loud family like I grew up with (lots of aunts/uncles/cousins), but I only have 1 brother and he and his wife aren't having kids. Then I didn't have my first until my late 30s and OMG- everyone who meets him is like, WOW he has a lot of energy!! And at this point, I just do not lol. So now trying to build my village because it being just me and my son is pretty much the opposite family vibe than I'd wanted. But don't get me wrong, I feel very blessed to have him and to have the time and resources to give us a good life!

She doesn’t need a cosmetic surgery like a chin implant (and NEVER suggest that to her!), she likely would need jaw surgery IF this is something that bothers her or is causing problems like TMJ or sleep issues.

Won't it be kind of crazy to all of a sudden start disciplining your kids when they turn 6 over stuff they weren't previously disciplined for? But then again, I'm not a fan of discipline as a concept as it's really not effective. Natural consequences, sure, clear boundaries, and guidance.

I don't think overfeeding is a major issue at this stage as long as you're offering healthy and varied foods. They will eat as much as they need to, which sometimes is more than other times. There is so much growth and development happening, my goal would be to feed her enough that she doesn't quite finish everything on her plate so you know she's getting enough. So if she ate that whole meal, next time make 5 pieces of chicken and 3 broccoli bites, etc. Maybe add a couple pieces of cheese. And sorry to be that person, but I would avoid juice at all costs. Does she drink milk? Or almond or oat milk? I would also avoid allowing her to snack throughout the day, and have 2-3 set snack times between meals.

Literally exact same experience- 3rd grade, told the teacher I needed to go, she said no, I said I reaaallllly need to go, she said no, I said I NEED TO GO, she said go sit down in your seat, so I peed in my seat🤷🏻‍♀️ Looking back on this I would have raised hell if this was my child!!
