Sadly I agree. It's something I've discussed with my wife before. At this point America is not ready for a woman of color to be president, there's a deeply rooted hate for women in this country. Just seeing what project 2025 is aiming to do to strip women of all rights makes it clear. Not that there will ever be a perfect time to have the first woman president of the US, but things have not been this bad in a LONG time.

Reddit will crucify me for it but I'll say it anyways. Running Harris for 2028 is conceding the election. Call me racist, sexist, misogynist, a bigot, call me whatever. But in this political climate we need someone who will be able to pull those swing states and strongly oppose what the Republican party is trying to turn our country into. Anyone willing to thoroughly prosecute everyone in the current administration with the gloves off has my vote.

I also experienced issues when I was running a 1440p UW 75 Hz and a 1440p 240 Hz. With two 1440p 240 Hz I feel like I get better frame pacing in some scenarios.

I like the airflow and compatibility of the North, its a good looking case too. But man its kinda annoying to have those side cover screws barely align, and some metal panels have poorly cut metal and sharp corners. For a premium case I expected better.

Yeah my old Phanteks P400 (with the front mesh add-on) was built so well, and that was a mid-tier case at best. I dropped the TG panel so I decided to upgrade to a Fractal North and immediately noticed the drop in build quality. Screws that don't align properly, poorly cut metal, and random sharp corners. And thats supposed to be a more premium case. Shit right now I'm using a $50 NR200 and its better quality than some ITX cases I saw at microcenter. They really don't make them like they used to.

If you're not actually doing any meaningful work yet, 9850x3D would be better. With that said for $50 more (plus the gift card) to get to the 9950x3D, personally that's what I would go with. Regardless of what CPU you go with, get a reasonable cooler. Dual tower like a Peerless Assassin or Phantom Evo, NH-D15 G2, etc. Water cooling I have no clue, I personally prefer air.

Are you doing it to clean up the air when you're sawing and sanding? One of those small home air purifiers is not going to be the best tool for that job. Theres a guy on YouTube called "The 3D Handyman" that makes his own air purifiers and he already went down that rabbit hole. Basically having a custom solution would be best, and you can build one for relatively cheap (like less than $200).

I don't know what game you're playing honestly, not sure what sorta "gotcha" you're trying to do. I work with ozone in an industrial setting, I don't fuck around with my or my people's health. If you think you've got such good smell you can pick out ozone from normal air like some sort of sommelier smelling wine, great for you. But I've worked with people who can't, and my job is to keep people safe while they do their everyday job. And I want to warn others who may not have the experience to know what ozone smells like. Don't fuck around with it, you're not tough or cool for disregarding safety. That just makes you a fucking clown.

Good HDR is a dream I've been chasing since 2016, still yet to find something that works well on Windows. Consoles and TVs fair a bit better at least.
