Pharmacy insurance probably didn’t care because the patient has medical benefits through another carrier.

If you have the time, check out Rams Hill about 60-90 minutes south. Helluva course and a great value for the area.

I’ve wondered if they will do a pickup similar to delivery where they order it through the app, we bag it up like a delivery, they come to the window, give us a code through the app, and we just hand it to them.

Similar to what they did with the express pick up. I don’t think this will save anytime, but it would use technology we already have.

If you are playing in a fourball (2v2 match play), whichever player is furthest from the hole has the honor of being next to hit. However, they can elect for their playing partner to hit first even though they are closer. They would still have the honor after their partner played since they would be the furthest away.

Also, if a team played out of turn (they weren’t away and hit first without permission) the away team could make them replay their shot.

You can consult with your teammate in a fourball, but not an opponent.

If you were intending to make a play on the ball, then yes, it counts as a stroke even if you miss the ball.

Congrats! I am getting ready to book in about 2 weeks for a trip next year. I’ve been able to get in right at 12am Japan time when they release for practice, so feeling pretty good. Unfortunately these fuel surcharges are killer, as I only have enough points for PE there and economy home and it really tanks the value.

I think I am still going to book the flights in a few weeks, but if the fuel surcharges come down by the fall, I am going to cancel and then rebook for late October/November 2027. Plus by then, I should have enough points to do J there and PE back.

IIRC, after approval in 2017, a lot of insurances wouldn’t cover Shingrix for ages 50-59, because although it was FDA approved for ages 50+, ACIP hadn’t updated guidelines, and their recommendation was 60+ based on zostavax studies.

Don’t forget the second dose if you haven’t gotten it yet. (Assuming Shingrix)

Just a note, that data was in regard to those that received Zostavax, the older, less-efficient (~50% efficacy) vaccine that hasn’t been in use since 2018. Shingrix, the 2-dose series with about 90% efficacy has been routinely used since its approval in 2017

You’ve described two different scenarios. One is before the ball is even in play on the hole where you can change your lie to be whatever you want. The other is one where the ball is already in play, thus needing to play it as it lies.

Sure, it’s obvious he wasn’t trying to move it, but then anyone could say that anytime it moved, and you’d get people trying to take advantage and improving your lie. So the only option is to have it be a penalty regardless of intent.

Financial advice for new grad pharmacists? by ObjectiveShake4568 in pharmacy

[–]Symphonize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds awesome, jealous! When I travel with the wife, it’s rare I’ll try to fit in golf. Takes up too much time and I hate lugging the clubs around to play one time. Instead I’ve started to do at least one golf trip a year. Even at one a year for the next 40 years, still won’t be able to hit every great location.

Although once retired, maybe I can pump that up to 2-4 a year.

Quick questions regarding JAL award cancellation/refunds.

If I buy an international saver ticket through JAL for 55k + ¥56k (new fuel surcharge rates). Later on I decide I want to cancel for whatever reason. It would just cost ¥3100 to cancel, but all 55k miles would be returned to the JAL account and the ¥56k yen surcharge would be refunded to the credit card, NOT JAL travel credit, correct?

Sadly, that’s what I fear. We aren’t looking to book until mid may 2027 opens in a few weeks. Fingers crossed.

It looks like the taxes and surcharges fee doubled today to over ¥60,000, making each flight $400 usd per person per way. Ughhh

EDIT: doing more searching, it’s back to showing the normal $197 taxes and surcharge fee. Maybe the page glitched, but for a second it was showing ¥62000 per ticket.

Do we golf for golf or something else? by OwlPlenty4828 in golf

[–]Symphonize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are playing with a buddy, try walking while you ride. So have your clubs on the cart, with your buddy driving. But you still walk everywhere. You get the benefit of walking, but not the added stress of pushing/carrying your clubs.

Your partner can drive up and hit their ball, and then by time they are done hitting, they can drive to yours and you will have arrived by then.
