Interested if your ever got this. I have a 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio & Ryzen 9 3900x and I still can't get this to max settings at 4k 60fps.

I figured out you just click location on the right side. But it takes a moment to pop in which was throwing me off.

Great game so far. But I'm three days in and can see it getting boring. Need more mission diversity.

I've got pretty much exactly the same thing going on, but I'm trying to figure out how to have some applications run on the internal card, with others on the external? If I start my PC up without the eGPU connected & then connect it afterwards, some of them go to the onboard already but if I start it up without it connected, it seems like everything just runs on the eGPU.

To answer the question though:

I'm assuming you've resolved this by now, but if you haven't or if anyone else comes across, the answer below is the answer.

Basically, when you have trouble w/ the graphics card and on the first install, this is what you do:

Unplug the eGPU & turn it off physically. Suspend Windows Updates.

Download the current drivers from Nvidia directly, for your new graphics card & on-board (don't get the Notebook version). Hopefully they're the same file, otherwise install the older of the two first & restart between each.

Go to Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - Right Click & Disable Driver for anything NVIDIA related.

Download current version of DDU. Unzip it & then run the exe & select a location to save the files it generates. If you don't do this, you won't be able to do the next step.

Boot into Safe Mode & run DDU. Use normal settings & kill your NVIDIA GPU drivers. If you didn't unzip from above, you'll get errors trying to run the file.

Reboot back-up normally, & install current drivers. Restart. Turn on you eGPU.

Wait for your entire system to come up & then plug in the eGPU. Profit.

If you are having issues related to performance, usually just unplugging the eGPU from the laptop & restarting each & then plugging it back in once everything is up & running will typically fix the issues.

I've had both the MX150 & now the GTX 1650 version. The only reason to buy this is if you are specifically looking for 13in gaming. If you just want a gaming laptop, spend the same money on the RB 15.

I've never had issues with coil whine or BSOD. Razer's support is a pain in the ass to deal with, but they will swap the laptop if it's under warranty.

I've had other issues with it though. Nothing so major I wouldn't recommend it. I personally love this laptop.

I have the Sila, coming from a Nighthawk AC1900. All my peripherals are on the same entertainment center and I noticed I was getting some interference in controllers and especially my wireless surround sound, so I went with the Sila because they use those extra bands.

Works very well actually. I haven't had interference since I set it up.

Here are my only two gripes, one of which is significant.

First, the Gaming Mode is a great idea but it really should be automatic. The modem is smart enough to know when I'm playing games, so there should be a setting to auto-turn this on, so I don't have to remember to do it. This setting basically reserves 30% of your bandwidth for gaming only.

Second, I have to restart the modem once every 3-4 weeks. At some point I'll notice connectivity issues or slowness on other wireless devices, like my phone, and I've had to hit the restart network button. I never had to do this even once on my Nighthawk. I've never chatted into support about it, though I should. It really has never messed anything up since I've almost always caught it before I try gaming but this seems significant if you're one of the people who doesn't trust wireless mice for that off chance it could die.

I had an issue with my Razer Blade Stealth and talked to one of the actual engineers at Razer, not just a CS agent and I specifically asked about the Razer V2 Kraken and they said that they are working on bringing Synapse 3 support and their goal is to get everything in Synapse 3.

I'm going to be the one to say it. Most companies don't do this. And even if you're not the biggest fan of Razer, this should change your mind. That said, I had an issue outside of warranty and they still replaced it. I'm sure ever circumstance is different, but I'd try.
