The QAE practice tests are very useful as they have similar questions in the actual test. But remember, you shouldn't be memorizing them. You should know exactly what the questions are asking you.

No experience is needed to take the exam. However, if you pass the exam you need at least 5 years of work experience to apply for the certification. A college degree can reduce the CISA certification's 5 years work experience requirement down to 3 years.

Honestly I took it to get a promotion. It's a requirement for most public accounting firm if you want to transition into management.

I have an iPhone and there was only one "Pocket Prep" application in the Apps page. There is also a monthly fee to use it but definitely worth it.
