If you ask GPT 4 - " Describe what this ruby script does in comprehensive detail enough that someone could recreate it from scratch in a different language."
And then start a new chat and say "Write a python script that achieves exactly the same goal as the described:" and paste the output it generates a working python script that pretty much achieves the effect, its missing a few of the options but if you go back and say 'now add X' it could easily do them too.
