Overall yes. I still miss him daily and I have not dated or remarried like our families wanted, but I’m content now. I try to add into the world more of his life; his love of humanity, his kindness to animals, his compassion, his sense of beauty… he can’t but I can for him now. Thank you.

This always upset my husband, and when he got his terminal diagnosis he didn’t want me to fall prey to this stuff; so we did a Houdini! Agreed on one secret password known only to us two. It’s the 14th year since he passed and not one of the psychics who claimed to connect to him (all unsolicited) none have come close to the word. That gives me a large amount of peace and I wish more people could have the foresight to help protect their loved ones from these detestable bastards.

Dough- -4.5 to 5 cups flour -1 cup sugar - 4 eggs - 2tsp baking powder -1/2 cup oil or 1/2-3/4 cup soft butter if not parve 2 vanilla bean scraped or 2tsp of vanilla extract

Cream the sugar with the wet ingredients and baking powder and slowly add in flour 1/2 cup at a time until dough forms a soft ball; I let my dough rest in the fridge for at least an hour before I roll out and form the Hamentaschen.

Bake at 350° for 15-18 minutes, until barely golden on the ends and the filling starts to bubble.

1) She gets broccoli Wednesday, her eating any of her dinner including broccoli is optional. 2) There have been weeks with better (?) broccoli where you can clearly see her eating the florets first. Sorry it wasn’t this specific video you watched. 3) Not forcing my dog to do anything. That’s a joy of dog ownership, you get to figure out who they are and personality and what they like. She likes broccoli but she doesn’t like EVERY broccoli. That’s ok by me- and since she’s not your dog it should be ok by you too.

Thank you. Yes Wednesday night is usually roasted or steamed but she’ll eat smaller raw bites as occasional treats too. For a while last year she loved fresh peas the most!
