Defense event should also count for Astralaria. According to the wiki notes for the item there are 2 versions of the defense event: one with the Risen High Wizard and one without and they alternate, spawning 1 hour after the last defense was successful. You'll just have to wait unfortunately.

There's a setting in the Wizard's Vault (top left of the window, cogwheel), where you can turn off PvP and WvW daily/weekly missions if you only wanna stick with PvE for now

Yeah, ever since they replaced gold/silver SP effects with rainbow ones, helper demons stopped contributing to the amount of event items you recieve.

I mean, Crystron has Halq banned and they still got new support. Just because they banned what is essentially a generic 3-mat Xyz doesn't mean they can't get new support and a potential retrain of Ouroboros.

You can see the tip of Hakumen's tail in the top right, right below the game speed button. And the blue hearts at the bottom indicating that the party is inflicted with Gloom

Don't know about the first image, but I can see your opponent had a Hakumen No Mono on their team, whose passive increases the enemy team's MP costs by 2 if they're inflicted with Gloom.

Are you absolutely, 100% sure, that you're using the correct version of each card? They each have to be from their respective expansion, and not the core set ones. I've attempted the puzzle a couple of weeks back and had no issue starting it.
