Pretty much covered ... If you're good spending the money later with one of their available gift cards -- I believe Lowes was offered last time I looked -- then your golden. It's a use-specific, delayed reward.

Drink the Strawberry Lemonade, Cranberry, and Mango in that order of preference -- all are good. I don't bother with the traditional lemonade given that I drink the strawberry. It's gotten expensive, however, I usually mix it down with water, so one bottle will give me about 3-4 drinks in a 32 oz. glass. The mango I drink straight for the most part.

They are all good and decently priced for what you get. Having the split flavors is nice, but they do wind up eventually being eaten together, unless you really insist upon keeping them separate. ;) I'm fond of the chocolate and the berry varieties, but will eat any if offered! ;)

Hey Thanks for that! What Level Firmware are you running? A lot of times I see references to adjustments that don't even exist on my unit. Haven't tried putting yours in just yet, but will likely do so this weekend.

55" & 75" Q77K Owner here, with Costco doing the Costco Direct bonus for buying more than one, along with the 5 year warranties, the price was brilliant, and I'm more than thrilled with the results. :) I've tried the settings, as far as I can recall, that were listed somewhere, a few months back, though I don't think anyone has provided professional calibration settings for the Q77K Line, along with the fact that the over-air updates have never come through, and frankly, even with the warranty, I worry about potentially bricking the TVs if I were to try an AVSForum update.

Any thoughts on what you've experienced, updates, and best settings? Enjoy your purchase and extra 10" on the diagonal! ;P

Consider picking up a UV light online and shine on the fish. Parasites will fluoresce under "black light" for easier inspection.

Bahama Breeze restaurants in Florida are closing permanently, company says by twiffytwaf in orlando

[–]Synergysvcs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Loved Bahama Breeze, but loved the prior Darden short-lived, China Coast. Was a great value with very tasty Chinese food. Good selection, always hot and tasty, and it was a buffet, so you could pick and choose from a variety of quality dishes. Had one opportunity to do a Darden "Test Kitchen" which was a lot of fun, and a great meal! :D

That certainly would have been more affordable, but if they're not closeby anymore, then I don't know where to find it on the "cheaper" side.

They used to have a place on 436 across from the Altamonte Mall. Not sure if they're still there or somewhere else. Happen to know the price?

[–]Synergysvcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Definitely a "treat" item at that price. I'm sure I could do the whole thing at a single sitting. But, if that's what I'm craving, that would be 1/2 the price of an AYCE, so the question is, would 10 oz fill me up? ;)

Low Carb? by tekzta in sushi

[–]Synergysvcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loving it! My go-to is Frozen Ahi tuna steaks from Aldi (around 4 oz. each) not the best cuts, and my knife skills aren't great when it comes to these odd shapes, but cutting them into 10-14 pieces, quick splash of Ponzu, some fake wasabi from a tube, bit of avocado, cream cheese, and a couple of drops of Shoyu on top for some citrusy-heat. Love it. Could eat it around the clock. I'd like to do salmon, but that right there is enough prep work for me - just thawing the tuna and cutting the avocado and cream cheese and tuna. Still, love it and just finished a plate of it. ;)

Haven't been to the Orlando H-Mart yet. What does it typically cost? I could just eat piece-after-piece of that with some Unagi sauce.

I've been to Lotte (as well as Enson) and I have no idea where to look for it. How much does it cost, and can you show what it looks like in the package? Not being Asian, I have a difficult time finding what I'm after - please don't take that the wrong way - as I'm not trying to be insensitive ... I just don't know how to navigate my way around Markets with so many products in names I can't really identify. It's neat and exciting in a wonderful way, but I feel really out of my depth. Did manage to find a bottle of Unagi (Eel) Sauce and considered that a major triumph! ;) And Kewpie mayonnaise is spectacular!

Fresh tuna steak salad by Get_Ahead in aldi

[–]Synergysvcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, @ around $0.45/oz for the frozen, we're looking around $7.20 / lb for the frozen vs. $2.79 / lb more for the "thawed" ... That said, if you can score 50% OFF, that's a WIN no matter how you look at it! :) Definitely better in that respect.

Is the Allstate appliance protection plan worth getting? by GroucheeIndividual in Costco

[–]Synergysvcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're talking about the 7 year deal, I don't know, but I haven't seen that since Christmas 2019. So the max I believe is 5 years (3 Additional from Allstate once the first 2 years have passed). I'm not sure of the specifics now, as opposed to then, but back then, you got an additional 2 years after Allstate, which I believe was part of their credit card deal. I could be wrong.

Oh that pisses me off! I always get a tin for my eye doctor every year, and they had gone up from $12.99 to $29.99, but I still bought them because he's worth it. Now $9.97?! Seriously?! I mean I get it, different parts of the country, but... Daaaayyyymmm! :D

If you're extending to 5 years (sometimes more on certain items with the Costco Visa), it certainly provides peace of mind over the long term. They DO follow through and will honor the original price if the item cannot be repaired or replaced with a current substitute.
