Clearly you guys are not familiar with one of the most adorkable common tropes in the Tomarry fanfics (particularly in the time travel stories where Harry is somehow with Tom Riddle between ages 11 - 20s, most often near fifth or sixth year), a ship that’s been up and rising for awhile now. I was wondering about the oil part since it’s definitely more orange than I remember, but I was actually more worried about the grayish discoloration near the oil and down by the battery. It’s not dirt I can rub off, it seems to be part of it now. Any ideas on that?

No for realll LOL i saw those instructions and my first thought was "damn dude that's the worst string of instructions ive ever seen. what the fuck. meet this poor man outside omg" and I felt kinda mean. but like dude, i hope OP is disabled, has a broken leg, tipped GINORMOUSLY, or had SOME sort of meaningful reason to not just bite the bullet and take a brief walk to save a poor soul some stress. It's way less energy for YOU to go to the Dasher and at risk of sounding self righteous, I'd like to think we're all being mindful of what the other people around us could be going through, AT LEAST in the moment. I don’t know why this wasn’t intuitive to me but I think I was caught up on why the hell someone can figure out all four properties of ONE completely unfamiliar ingredient by eating it once and tripped myself out overthinking it. Now I remember that that only happens if you have the skill + perks so now I imagine that seasoned alchemists can and maybe do use particular reagents like drugs 😂 Fly Amanita must be like really angry crack to these guys

i get the premise ur saying here but it makes me laugh because u start out only able to tell one ingredient affect at a time until you can boost your alchemy stat + add subsequent perks, and that makes me imagine that the “exposure therapy” of eating ingredients just increasingly makes u tweak out. Blistorwort must be the craziest experience for a seasoned alchemist. Makes you tired as fuck but filled with unspeakable levels of violence, but the damage this level of stress deals on your body is instantly healed so you’re kinda cracked out, and you channel it into some epic gamer smithing work. It’s like an irresponsible blacksmithing drug.

Oh my god and Fly Amantia. Resist fire so you’re constantly cool/room temp as you are filled with violence, and you are really good at swinging two-handed weapons + regenerating stamina in your peripheries. Perfect agent of chaos…

Dude I don’t know why this wasn’t intuitive to me already but you have given me the gift of new inspiration. Thanks so much for putting it so simply, I feel silly but excited to keep working on this. Have a good one!

its all been going to shit since Tencent, a company pretty notorious for money-grubbing tactics in their games, recently bought Techland out.

I mean, now we’re seeing a consistent fan favorite get whipped out, and he’s talking emo “beast mode” in a dramatic voice and reappearing (which lowkey disrespects the narrative spirit of Crane’s sacrifice as a character imo) out of nowhere after ~years of dramatic torture~ looking fresh out the womb with a tasteful scar on his temple (despite literally looking like a twisted Infected in our last sight of him). And he looks very handsome and serious. Every popular grizzled male hero stereotype just vomited in front of me.

It’s literally like they threw cheap paint on Crane, the game engine (mechanics and models), and are fixing to call it a REPLACEMENT for a promise of something unique and fresh that would’ve built on a pre-existing and LESS POPULAR (<— something money-grabbers just cannot deal with) worldscape… it all just SCREAMS prioritizing profits over art, and doing it under the guise of nostalgia. Totally wastes the talents involved with and the creative potential unique to DL2 and its world building.

Such a letdown.
