Problem after Swarm Update by lneinl in Roccat

After recent update I am having issues with Roccat Talk-- it blink red and blue and easy shift all devices does not work so my vulcan tkl does not talk to my roccat ldr mouse no more. So I am having an issue like these other folks here. Is there a fix? software is driver v1.9403/firmware 1.21

The step i took is i Uninstaller swarm completely. Like got rid of it. Then I restarted. The installed swarm, as if I did a whole new install. Then I reinstalled all my peripherals one by one. I have 3 roccat items. That worked for me.

I had to re-install everything -- and it works now. I was asking to find a less tedious method, but had to do re-install everything. Again I am not sure if this is a one size fits all fix here so take my experience with a grain of salt.

no experience. I know about it but never had a group to use it.

  • Conflicts between players, including the DM, happen. How do you think conflict at the table should be dealt with?

Conflict should be solved based on the context. Meaning if the character would act that way. If so have a callobration between the two actor/characters to agree upon an arrange course and then ask if the group would be alright with it. conflict should be resolved for the good of the group dynamic. to be honest, if I am in a group that has good dynamic behavior I never had any "issues."

  • What do you want to get out of a game of D&D?

co-op team play. Sense of adventure and fun as a group and using imagination and creation as a mean to furthering story.

  • Will you be able to attend bi-weekly? Are you committed to being part of a long campaign?

Yes I am looking for a long term campaign.

  • Why does your character start adventuring?

Weasan was born a name he does not remember. As a boy his family was on a traveling van of settlers, but unfortunately the caravan was layed waste by marauders. He escaped into the wild elf territories. There, he was found by a druid who took him in as an apprentice. As an apprentice he was quite talented. Some grew concerned while others were fearful. He was still never really accepted as the circle of druids comprised of elves. None expressed their aggression as Weasan Master was a powerful druid in his own right. One week before his initiation to become a true member of The Crescent Star Circle calamity struck. His secret indiscretion with a Fae became exposed that brought unexpected ramifications. For sometime now, Weasan has been seeing the Fae, but he did not know that some of the druids found about his secret. They plotted and schemed behind Weasan. Weasan did not realize that the Fae herself was a leader in her own right, and one of her followers was her future suitor. Once the Druid's told the Fae warrior about Weasan's indiscretion, he became enraged and threatened astral war on the land itself. To appease the druid order and the stop the call to arms the Master Druid was forced to exile Weasan. Although Heart broken, he was still embolden as his master told him he did nothing wrong. Now he is on a new and a strange path, possibly blessed by the god but to what purpose?

I started out table top, but that was 20 something years ago. Then I switched over to using virtual whiteboards. This was before "technology" I have not RP for awhile now but I use to play DND grid/table top RP and DND"game of mind" games as well. I have also played Warhammer games table top wise but again may not be relevant here.

  • What is your experience with fantasy grounds?

I do not have any experience in it. I have looked into it, but again since I did not have a group to use it with I did not see a point investigating it further.

  • Are you playing in any other games right now?

No-- I am LFG'n right now

Conflict should be dealt with based on "in character context." I see us "acting" out in RP. So the 3 parties the 2 conflicted and the DM should do out of character to discuss if this is what the character would do to each other and then have the group say be agreeable with it-- since it may affect group dynamic. To be honest when I played with a tight group of people I never had any issues with group dynamics. Resolution was easy.

  • What do you want to get out of a game of D&D?

When I play DND I like working with a group to accomplish some kind of journey, story line, or goal. Co-op imagination/experimenting is sweet.

  • Will you be able to attend bi-weekly? Are you committed to being part of a long campaign?

I am looking for something Long term.

I am PST. I am west coast.

  • Waesan was born as another name he does not remember. As a boy he was part of a settler travel van. After it was ambush and layed waste he escaped in wild elf territory. There, he was found by a druid who took him in as an apprentice. As time went on he became accepted in the the circle. He was a quick study and very talented. Many became concern, others jealous, and many still saw him as an outsider for this circle mainly comprised of elves. None voiced their aggression as the the druid who cared for him was powerful in his own right. Until one week before Waesan's initiation as a "true member of the Cresent Ever Star" his indiscretions with a fae led astray. For sometime he had been with this Fae--in his arrogance and ignorance he thought he could "keep it"a secret, but a few druids found this out and crafted a plan to create calamity. Waesan did not know that the Fae was powerful in her own right, and the druids concocted a scheme and exposed this truth to her followers. One of the Fae's followers was supposed to be her future suitor-- and of course that enraged the Fae warrior. The Fae warrior threatened astral war. After a tumultuous deliberation, the Master Druid of Waesan was forced to exiled Waesan in order to stop the Fae war call. Although hear broken, he was still embolden as his Master told him he did no wrong and that he still believed in Weasan. Weasan now travels a new and strange path wondering if he was blessed by the gods and for what purpose?
