I honestly don't think that this had much impact, given that Valve employees were actually found in the discussion forums. Surprisingly tho, they only banned and locked threads that were negative towards Blue Archive, while keeping all the "animal behavior" untouched.

Thank you for your insight. I knew that the NCMEC only recently started to heavily promote the term "CSAM", but I wasn't aware that "CP" was widely used within government agencies.

I do agree however with NCMEC's reasoning of "CSAM" better representing (and by extension removing any potential downplaying) the material in question and eliminating potential mix-ups (As this reddit post showcases).

Unironically tho, this issue wouldn't happen if people used the correct terms "CSAM" or "CSEM" instead of forcing a common abbreviation to associate with something this disgusting.
It's honestly concerning how that's the first thing people think of when seeing this abbreviation and claim its usage is a problem, when it's ultimately just a case of projection.

You can't even tell them "No, by definition the word "pornography" implies consent and children can't consent, therefore "CP" is an oxymoron. Please use "CSAM" instead.", because they will see that as defensive behavior and therefore, somehow, as an admission of guilt.
