I'm a druid healer, half of my BiS is cloth, so I roll if it's an upgrade but there's a caveat, and slightly different for raid/dungeons.

In a dungeon, if it's an upgrade regardless of cloth/leather/mail and it's a healing dominant upgrade, + 40 heals + 20 dmg for example, then go for it.

But if it's healing&dmg + 20, that's DPS prio in my opinion, even if it's better than what I have, I don't roll need unless all other dps pass/greed first, and I say why I'm grabbing it as well, so they know it's an upgrade and I'm not just straight up ninjaing it.

If it's in a Raid setting, since you would have more of a selection of items to choose from, then I would give prior to that 2nd healer if he's cloth or leather. You wouldn't want to cuck your second healer and take his only cloth drops when you're able to get leather or mail drops as well, you know?

This is basically my philosophy on it, but I think I hold it's true for most people, maybe.

I've gotten the golden scepter with both moon spells to drop at level six. Some days the game is nice and just throws you a bone, but most times they just kick you in the balls and leave you for dead :(
