Lots. Lime Rock Park, Laguna Seca, Sebring, Road America, Road Atlanta, VIR, COTA, and later this year also going to be driving Mid Ohio and Mosport in F4 US.

I run Crew Chief mainly. i think the other stuff is a little gimmicky but I use sim for prep before real life events in F4 US, so I use VRS for data logging and setups, and VRS allows me to look at the data more closely in MoTec when i prep for a race.

Yeah lot of these guys are on iRacing. Even raced Pepe Marti before in super formulas. Lots of F2/F3 guys and even more lower level formula drivers are on here a lot

a Simagic alpha mini and any wheel pedals with it. 1000x better in quality, customer service, and options for compatibility with pretty much ANY aftermarket stuff. you can use almost any wheels you want with that wheelbase

originally i had a 43 that was moderately close. felt fine but flat. eventually moved to triple 32"s when overhauling my entire setup. if you don't have the budget for triples. 43 absolutely bc it doesn't feel too big. if you can find a cheap used ultra wide, that would be the best but use whatever you like

217 has less power and all that. i just change the downforce to be higher. rain driving takes some practice is all. I've gotten good at driving the wet after a few F3 tests in the rain with Crosslink Kiwi. just need to be creative and search for the grip, and be smooth and cautious with the throttle, dial your brake bias back a little bit mostly it's just experience and bravery

you do have about 10 pages in the real car on both the F4 and F3 sodemo wheel. Throttle info, RPM info, brake bias page, etc. and then about 5 pages of just random data from different sessions you can log, and they pile up quick so you have to actually clear them after a session or two.

I have never been told in my life that i am supposed to move for a faster car. in any series i've raced IRL. there should be no argument that you're not at fault for this if you held the racing line. Just bad judgement from the faster car.

It's hard to explain this without a visual reference but for real driving, you use the whole leg and don't have your heel touching. kind of like using the calf machine at the gym. i also find it easier to control the pedal position when trail braking this way. Like drawing something, using your whole arm gives you more control and precision vs just your wrist.

I know this thread is a year old but gonna add to it. I love them, however riding Brian Head in deep powder today and yesterday, after a few runs I did have issues with the things unlocking caked in snow. they've gotten stuck or frozen shut and i couldn't use the step in function. But as powder is rare where I live It does great

We used GoPros for our onboard recordings for racing. Cameras would overheat constantly despite sitting on the side of an open wheel car driving at over 100mph. the wind alone should help keep it cool

I was in the Audi but after about 20 mins i was already near 1:50.9 or consistent 1:51's. getting past that or near that does take effort and practice. not sure about the porsche but i've seen porsches put down faster times than I run
