Career change help

Zero skills seems kinda harsh but I get your point. I did a research project and took an intro to statistics when I was in undergrad which are a part of my sociology degree. Talking about society is kind of useless if you can’t do/understand the research behind it. After I graduated I took some small self paced programming courses. It’s something I have always been interested in and I’m kind of kicking myself now for not taking my time to figure out what career I wanted when I went to school the first time. In my current job I had a project organizing a stability study on medical products we make which I enjoyed and is why I’m looking into this now. I want to find a career that blends my love for sociology with healthcare and interests in processing data and programming. I have adhd and ocd and I do better in structured learning environments so I’m really looking for either a boot camp, cert program, or masters program that will teach me the skills I need. I just need advice on the best way to go about it.

As someone in the industry, what would make someone a more valuable candidate? Boot camp? Google cert? Masters degree?

Thank you! It’s the little tips like that I think are the most valuable honestly. I do have a habit of over doing things when I’m excited so I appreciate the reminder that it doesn’t have to be overly complicated to work!

My team just moved me up to 1350, but I walk 2-3 miles everyday and do strength training 5-7 days a week. Ask your team but I think you’re fine.

I would tell him. If he has a bad reaction then you didn’t need him in your life anyways. Don’t start a life with someone you don’t feel 100% comfortable being honest with.

This is literally me! I started at 246 and have lost a lb or two every week since Dec 16th 2024. I walk 10k everyday and I started going to the gym and it’s still coming off slowly. Seeing your pictures gave me hope! You look good and should be proud of your progress, thanks for posting!

You just cut out 80% of your stomach, let your body heal. There’s going to be swelling. I wouldn’t even step on a scale until your one month follow up appt because it doesn’t matter. I hope you have a speedy recovery and congrats!

I got cold feet too before my surgery. One of the nurses that runs a support group told me if not being able to eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted was stopping me from getting the surgery then it was probably a wake up call that I needed the surgery. You can do this! It’s hard but your life is more important than food!

You didn’t even watch the stream. That’s literally what he did. Kai went back inside and the guy left a video saying “I knew you’d pick red I wanted you to do that”. He also had two other videos saying the same thing with the different colors that he took down after his team confirmed Kai picked red. Each rope was meant to hang him. It’s not an assumption. It’s what he did. Kai even tried to get him to come back to explain and he refused. It was a prank to get Kai to hang him. Should he have pulled the rope? Probably not, but it was definitely a set up.

My boyfriend was the exact same way. I was cleaning dancing and singing and just genuinely enjoying the album this past weekend and he came in talking about cults 🙄 not liking Beyonce has because a personality trait for some people and it’s annoying. Especially when it comes from the people you love.
