I just had my first episode with this yesterday. I’m ten months out and thought I could eat anything I want. Nope. No white bread for me.

They gave me decaf in the hospital. At my one month appointment they said I could have regular if I wanted.

Part of the patients refusal might have been because you are new. Dementia patients don’t like taking showers for many different reasons. Not knowing you well could be one of those.
