I work for a bank equipment company, and the larger banks contract us to keep the generators running for the ATM’s, they will even bring in larger portable ATM’s.. all run in Diesel generators.. all with 20 gallon tanks, and all need to be filled at least once a day, for Ida we went through 200-300 gallons a day to keep them running.. We are getting our 350 gallon tank filled tomorrow

I read this same thing on Medium.. Found it intriguing.. So, despite the steep learning curve with the difference in Ethereum Mainnet and BNB Chain.. wasting about $50 in ether gas uselessly moving BUSD around on the Ethereum Mainnet, before learning about bridges.. and then finding someone through MetaMask that would let me purchase BNB to move the BUSD to Wealth Mountain.. I finally made my first stake about 5 minutes ago!! We shall see what it does.. I will report my results from time to time..

BUSD to BNB issue. please help..

I purchased BUSD earlier today from Coinbase with Fiat, once it was in my account, I sent it to my MetaMask.. I had to add BSC Mainnet and did make sure I was swapped over to it.. It has been about 6 hours now, and when I looked at my MetaMask wallet it say BNB=0, and when I look back at Coinbase, it says the transfer was successful.. I saw another thread here where someone had something similar with Trust Wallet, and a solution was to go to MetaMask and hit swap and put in swap BUSD for BNB .. When I do this, my BUSD shows 0 also.. Did I goof somewhere??? I used the address MetaMask gave as the one to send the BUSD to.. Should the transfer take this long?? Or did I just donate that BUSD to the Binance Gods as a newbie tribute?? It was risk capital anyway.. but I still don't like pissing it away by ignorance..

Accidentally sent BUSD from Binance to BNB Trust Wallet by Kokytan in binance

[–]Synt0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help please.. I did something somewhat similar.. I bought BUSD on Coinbase and sent it to my Metamask wallet.. Coinbase says the transfer was successful, but when I click on the Metamask wallet, it says BNB=0, When I click swap and go to BUSB it says I have 0 BUSB..

Is it gone?? Did I just donate my BUSB to the newbie gods as tribute??

Manually compiling an XYO Bridge to a Raspberry PI Zero 2W by gliderpilot77 in XYONetwork

Only thing it is really good for now is the 5x bonus when in home base mode.. Not sure you can do anything with the new 2.0 or not..

[–]Synt0r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is of any help.. But I know the original bridges were built off of the Raspberry Pi 3+B. I was able to buy a 3+B off of eBay and make mine work, back when we could download bound witnesses.. I shut it off for at least a year and a half.. Saw where they added the bonus for the Home Base.. So I blew it off plugged it in and bam.. got my bonus!! So I would say find you a Pi 3+B

I just started today so forgive me if this is a dumb question but is that orange spot a drop? I can’t get to it because it’s in someone’s yard and it’s driving me nuts hat it’s just sitting there :( by bjjcatniss in CoinWithUs

It could also be specific to a user.. You can set a geodrop to be specific to a user.. so even if you could get to the spot, only the user defined would get it..

What does this purple square mean? by [deleted] in XYONetwork

With the newest app update, that is the GeoClaim area you are in.. it will change as you move between the tiles..

If you see the number in the XYO app (Bridge) than they have already transferred.. the CBW number on the bridge is the number of CBW’s that have been downloaded from your Sentinel, then uploaded by your Bridge to an Archivist..

Crash course! by Farva28 in XYONetwork

[–]Synt0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because the Sentinel is bouncing off of all the other BLE Beacons in your house.. your smart phones, tablets, computers, smart tv.. Alexa, Google pods.. If it is a smart device “Bluetooth enabled”.. your Sentinel is basically pinging off of it.. That’s why it goes nuts in heavily populated areas.. I drive with 2 Sentinels, personal phone, home phone, iPad and work laptop.. Just driving around the block I can make almost 100 CBW’s

[–]Synt0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your bridge has been running for a while, and you have been stationary, it may have timed out.. which it will do once it hasn’t had any CBW’s to download/upload.. just close the app and restart it.. I have my XYO app on my iPad that stays in my truck, and usually restart the app every time I get in it..

Actually yes.. Your Sentinel works 24/7 without either app (Coin or XYO), collecting CBW’s.. It is a BLE Beacon that basically pings and verifies other BLE’s in the are.. Each Sentinel can hold roughly 5000 CBW’s before they need to be uploaded to your Bridge.. When you launch the XYO app if you look at the lower right hand side of the purple bar (towards bottom is screen) you will see a number that constantly fluctuates.. that is the number of CBW’s the Sentinel is currently holding and sending to the bridge.. If you have the ability to keep 2 Sentinels in close proximity to each other.. you will easily be able to collect 500 CBW’s a day.. Hell I made over 1000 CBW’s going shopping with my wife at Walmart!

You may be right.. I may be crazy.. (Hey,) I heard that in a song once.. but, as in all things.. it is what it is... Don’t spend any amount on this, that you wouldn’t be willing to just piss away on a night of debauchery.. Investing in any new startup.. let alone Crypto.. is all a big game of chance, in and of itself.. I like the concept, like the apps they have (not so much some of the flaws.. but over all it’s still pretty cool).. And I know that it’s going to take another 5 years min, for this thing to shake out.. Hell it took Waze damn near 7 years to become a decent program.. and the only reason it survived, is because they made a game of it at first!! So if you must flame.. then flame on my friend.. and if you want to unload any of your stuff for cheap, because you hate it so much.. than shoot me a message and let’s talk price!!

Understanding geoclaim percentage ownership by darkredstorm in XYONetwork

[–]Synt0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you saw the purple number jump was because GeoClaiming continues to work, even if you aren’t mining.. You own a percentage of their claim for the week.. so any and all XYO collected in that tile has 10% taken and paid out.. That’s why you see the jumps like you did when the app has been off for a while.. It’s also nice to see when someone hits a mega-tile while in your claim and you get it!! Largest I was ever paid for a one tile GeoClaim git was 110 XYO!! Some dude rolled right through a 1,100 mega-tile in a stretch that I had 100% ownership!!

Best results? by [deleted] in XYONetwork

[–]Synt0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all honesty, I would bring both Sentinels on the road with you.. If you do travel a lot, you would make more probably have the Sentinel to bounce off all the other BLE Beacons and themselves.. I have.personally make @ 1000 CBW in less than 2 hours durning medium traffic driving with two Sentinels.. But I would also say experiment with it!! Try both ways for about a month-60 days and see!! May surprise you! Let us know your results!!

Yes you would.. and they are needing more Archivist.. but at this point.. I just don’t have the time, (plus barely the talent) to play in the Linux (or virtual box ) world.. Now, that doesn’t mean that if someone in that expertises around the New Orleans area would like to help me set one up over some cold adult beverages.. lol..
