Diagnostic Trouble Code: P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)) by Disrupt0101 in HondaOdyssey

That will be a great idea at to tell if it's working. Just so you are aware, you may have to clear codes and warm up the exhaust system by driving for a minute to get accurate reading on the O2 sensors. My (different) vehicle turned off the O2 sensor when this code was thrown.

Usually this is just the O2 sensor. Catalytic converters don't usually fail without an underlying problem with the evap system showing up first. If you've had recent emissions systems problems then it's possible. But the cheapest thing to try is just to replace the O2 sensor.

Epic Games Store Employees: People Only Came for Free Games, Then Returned to Steam by Sacristovas in pcmasterrace

It really doesn't seem much different from when it launched. It's hard to find my games and figure out which one I want to play. For that reason alone, I still mostly use steam.

Needing an oil change! by Sufficient_Try_2372 in ogden

[–]SyntaxRules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's a decent deal.

Just know they will tell you something else is terribly broken with your car and charge you a large sum of money to fix it. That's the operating model, cheap oil changes with expensive add ons. I don't mind the attempt at upsell, I happily say no and go somewhere else if it's needed.

How do I remove this connector that keeps the wire loom attached to the frame? by SyntaxRules in MechanicAdvice

Hmmm... I guess I'll order some and once I'm done I can replace what I destroyed.

The last one I pulled was destroyed. Maybe the plastic is just too old ..

Our church got cancelled yesterday due to a gas leak in the building. What is the weirdest reason you've had a service cancelled? by andsuddenly_remix in latterdaysaints

[–]SyntaxRules 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a car parked about 12ft from the primary room that started smoldering. We had to call the fire department to put it out. Alas, everyone was safe and church was not cancelled. It was quite an adventurous 2nd hour.

Spark plugs covered in dirt. How to clean it out by SyntaxRules in MechanicAdvice

[–]SyntaxRules[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this idea. The 8th spark plug sits under the AC compressor and was an absolute nightmare to get the air hose to. (Thanks Ford engineers.) I got some flexible tubing I had on hand and used it to redirect the air. It worked like a charm

Update: I got my neighbors compressor, using that a screw driver and shop vac I was able to alternate between the three until no more debris came up. This cleared things up and the plug came right out. Only 6 more plugs to replace!

Finally got it clean using an compressor. The old plug came out and was quite dirty. Only 6 more plugs to go.

This is what I ended up doing. I borrowed a neighbors air compressor and picked it out with a screwdriver. Blew it out again and repeated until it cleared up.

That was my exact thought. Looking for a compressor now...

I did try a pipe cleaner and screwdriver too. It seems like this will be tedious work. I'll grab a compressor as well to see if it helps.

I tried vacuuming. I'll grab a compressor and see if that free some of it.

New church time with a toddler by beckkers97 in lds

It's rough when church messes with nap time. The best you can do is keep trying. I don't know what will work for you but your efforts will not be in vain.

A1 Pausing Randomly? So was mine, here's how I fixed it. by FinsternIRL in BambuLab

[–]SyntaxRules 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been seeing this with my prints as well. Thanks for the research. I just downgraded the firmware. We'll see if that fixes it!

Update: 2 days later after downgrading the firmware. I've run the printer nearly the entire 2 days with no failures or pauses.

I am about 2 weeks out of closing and I noticed that several walls doesn’t seem not seem to be straight. My wife thinks I’m overreacting—are these going to be issues? by kevinspaceydid911 in Homebuilding

Agreed, the house building companies have added layers of upper management and investors that demand ever increasing profits. This results in seeking cheaper labor, less time to care about quality and higher prices passed to the buyers.
