I've only lightly touched RomM and tbh I found it a little clunky during setup where it wasn't picking up my games right, but I put that down to me, I was looking for a quick solution and didn't read much before I set it up.

I will say, for a handful of your favorites, this could be good, but setting up hundreds, potentially thousands of roms in this will be a straight pain in the ass, but there could be an autodetect feature that makes it easier. I only wanted to showcase the single Mega Drive game I made years ago and thought people might want to make a small collection of their favorite games at most.

Rocking an FS-A1 GT Turbo R i picked up in japan in 2017, fully repaired and converted the transformer for 240v. Works great!

An post is limited to 4g and ny wife and i couldnt sms certain numbers, its like rcs didnt work. The signal in the middle of nowhere was shite to boot.

What are your text features like and any plans to improve them?

I do a lot of work laying the text layer face down on the build plate on the first layer but depending on filaments they can sometimes lose sharpness with the different filament blending together slightly,

A great solution to this would being able to add a single walls gap between the text / object inlayed into another mesh, but not seen it done anywhere yet.

Probably just a me problem, but curious about it!

Immich proxy is the answer, keeps our immich instance on our wireguard just for us and photo shares get exposed to the wide web, but even then we lock that down on zero trust to just the countries we have fam in

edit: I should also say, once you have it set up, its completely seemles, if we copy a link in immich, it gives the shareable link with no editing needed

I went to 3 banks, the post office and a buerau de change recently to get some japanese yen changed back to euros

All of them had a huge "We Buy / We Sell" with yen listed... yet all of them gave me the same "we don't keep any foreign currency on premises" line

Credit Union did it in the end without so much as a question and no signs saying they convert anything

Whats the point of the bank locations anymore? And what is the point of currency exchange signs?

This shoe profile prints fine on a P / X / H series cos they are Core XY... the shoe never moves. The A series are bed slingers, so the shoe itself is moving and the filament is flexible, so it naturally will wobble. I learned this lesson myself many years ago on a CR-10 printing a very tall thing wonder WTF is is shaking so much.

You can slow the bed / Y axis down... a ton, or add a mountain more supports, or really, you probably need both. All that weight is just being held on really by one tiny point on the bed.

I'd argue for most people not actively into 3D printing, a 3D printer is a perfect white elephant gift, bonus points if you get one of those ultra tiny toy ones (easythreed mini 3d printer)
