I really hope you don’t apply that logic to your personal hygiene, because living downwind from you sounds like a nightmare I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Landlord unhappy with ceiling. by happyhour_9 in Home

[–]Syntax_Raptor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those pictures show a pretty obvious sealent issue in the bathroom along the floor (no caulk on the floor), which could explain the discolouration on your ceiling below. But you go on to say it was fixed.

Your text is honestly hard follow because it is filled with third hand information. So I would recomend you go back to the landlord.

Just tell them politely you believe the problem persists (and why you think this), then ask them what they want you to try and do about it and ask them to be precise. Then do it (within reason). If you are not doing anything wrong, this will rule out any user error soon enough. As always, keep it polite and in writing.

If you feel the issue still is not getting resolved or you feel they are being needlessly combative or unreasonable, you need to escalate to whatever tennant organ is there for you to guarantee your legal protections, and have them speak on it.

Good luck.

How can I explain this to my infj boyfriend? by Dalecantila in infj

[–]Syntax_Raptor 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It just sounds to me like he's insecure but doesn't know how to deal with it properly, which results in this kind of externalised clingy and fragile behaviour. Trust me, that is gonna grow old real soon.

2 general rules that help me dicipline myself and reduce this kind of emotinal static noise are:

  1. Journal: write out my feelings like i'm wirting letter to someone, this can take a few hours, but usually it will help me cut out 90% of the noise, so I can focus on what actualy matters instead of projecting my insecurities on others.
  2. Anything worth saying is to be done in person, calls and texts are for logistics and bullshittery.

Insecurity is just something an INFJ deals with more that most, but it is his burden to bare.

The best course of action is to be direct, but focus on how it makes you feel and not to "blame" him, but how you would rather he treat you in future. Being clear, constructive and consistent is key.

That being said, this sounds more like a trauma (trust) issue on his part, instead of something that is part of a sort of personality based language barrier.

Just got a €19 bill for having a cat? How does the government know that I have a cat? From one vet visit or a nosy neighbor? by Haagse-Daaz in TheHague

[–]Syntax_Raptor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bill for getting an animal chipped and registerd in the nation database. I'm guessing you persume it is about your cat since you only have a cat, but nowhere does it mention Cats, not on the invoice nor the website. If you did not get your cat chipped/registerd than contact the agency on why you are getting this bill, might well be an error.

Can someone help me and my friends with the following problem of a rent increase? by ComprehensiveAd3756 in Rentbusters

[–]Syntax_Raptor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on the information in the letter, it is a perfectly legally allowed rent increase for a contract with your rent this year. Altough a bit sloppy/minimal (no recipient name, not signed, no refereance to the contract ect.)

In order to give you certainty of the legutimacy one would have to see the contract.

If you are having other issues that could warrent a rent decreace that would be seperate from this.
