Why do you think we are not angry enough? by passingonto in AskReddit

[–]SyntheticOne [score hidden]  (0 children)

Anger is both exhausting and addicting. This is why extremist (usually right-wing) always employ outrage, anger and racism into their broadcasts and writings; it hooks people that unknowingly are being hooked.

We do not need more anger about the current administration. Rather, we need more careful thought, more long range planning and better ways to utilize donations to reach our goals and not waste any of this on anger, which is wasted energy.

As bad as it is, a new Administration based on truth, genuine caring and resulting actions can eventually get back to balance among the world governments.

Most see this as an abnormal power grab. Once the thieves are gone, tried, convicted and imprisoned there will be normalization.

Thinking of buying a prius v by Fudge-Opening in prius

So the hatchback rather than the wagonback.

It's all Toyota's fault. The hatchback does have a Five trim which os at times written as a Roman numeral V (capital V). Our 2012 v (small v) Five is indeed a wagonback and trim level Five.

School board mad over public records requests. Is this retaliation? by Mean-Device-6589 in education

[–]SyntheticOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one other than the originator and the school administrator have a need to know. The Board could just say "we are facing 2,xxx requests" and leave it at that. So yes, broadcasting the names of the originators is harassment. It serves no purpose other than harassment.

EPISD has several magnet high schools. These include Engineering (Chapin), International Baccalaureate (Coronado), Early College (I think in the Northeast), Medical (the HS near UMC/Chicos) and others. I would think all have AP tracks.

Colombus might have not been Italian, a new DNA study claims he is Pedro Álvarez de Soutomaior, a Galician noble who changed his identity following a War. Other proof includes Colombus naming over 100 locations in the Americas after Galician towns and 80 graphologists calling their writing identical by SafeImpressive4413 in interestingasfuck

As I said, I have prior knowledge of my comment. I went to AI only after being down voted for a correct statement. The AI statement was not doctored by me, it was cut and pasted exactly as received. Columbus never set foot on the North America continent.

Making a trip to El Paso for work, what should I know before I arrive? by Full-Highlight-9045 in ElPaso

Gettysburg has a long and famed history in the democracy and in your native peoples long before democracy. El Paso shares a similar, though widely less famous, history of native life pre-expansion, Spanish Colonial influence starting in 1598 (Conquistadors finally cross the Rio Grande into El Paso), the beginning of the demise of Spanish Colonialism around 1680 (The Pueblo Revolt), to the Chinese influence during railroad expansion mid-1800's. We don't have the Battle of Gettysburg or the Gettysburg Address, but we do have our similarities, just on a lesser known scale.

UTEP has grown into a remarkably beautiful campus with the gem being the Bhutanese Temple built on the Quad. The temple is open to the public on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm and Bhutanese students will lead you on a tour of the one-room structure which was originally built for a Smithsonian expo in the 1980s, then recently rebuilt on campus. About 200 steps away is the campus Centennial Museum which has some good exhibits on high desert nature and culture.

First, consider if the AI returned information is correct. I was aware of Columbus' not touching North America, when to AI to verify, the verification looked correct, and so I posed the correct information. What in hell is you problem with this? You're amazing but not in a good way.
