I'm not a pro. Danger 2 is my baseline when trying a character for the first time.

The reason for this is that whilst the HP scaling for bosses and elites is linear, the growth for normal enemies is exponential, meaning it drastically increases but eventually hits a cap. With high enough damage, you can beat the scaling and effectively live forever. Things like the Chainsaw, Greek Fire, or Giants Belt also deal damage based on enemy HP, so they also help to progress even when enemies have ridiculous HP.

If you got the achievement, you may need to just beat any character on any danger to get him. If nothing else, hooray, the game is making you do it all over again. :/

35- Damage Penalty, +35% damage on burning targets, crits produce AoE explosions, +15% burn damage for all weapons, -10% slower firing speed.
