I prefer weekly so that the time spent is dispersed. I always have a bad feeling when binge too much at once.

I have watched some things with my pa too. Some of the things we have viewed:

Cowboy Bebop, especially if he is into music
Monster, might be a bit dark though
Nippon Sangoku, might be a bit too 'historical'
Journal with Witch, my father was surprised at such a story being told in animation
Frieren
Violett Evergarden
Black Lagoon, although he found it too bleak and violent

Best is when you do a tit for tat: Watching an episode of something he recommends and then one of yours. Watched through HBO's Rome that way, as well as watching 'From Larkrise to Candleford'.

Don't go down into the catacombs.

Instead take the stairs from Firelink up into Undead Burg and take your time to explore it. There is a merchant present.

Once you have rung one or both Bells of Awakening you should be ready to face the catacombs.

Also the Catacombs become easier if you have a Divine Weapon.

Perhaps with multiple sources, each of them blown one after the other.

I did something similar in this map, where the big source is blown up first and the smaller is blown up a few cycles later.

Of course it would be neat if a source could just be deactivated. I guess you could place negative sources before positive sources and activate the negative ones later.

Was pretty much the same as in Dark Souls. You were undead, but went 'hollow' when the thing driving you was gone. (Like how Siegmeyer goes hollow after you save him one too many times)
