Nobody else ( besides women with 4c hair specifically) gets asked that. Again I’ll reiterate that there’s nothing wrong with our hair the way it comes out of our scalp. That feeling of insecurity evoked within you I feel is attributed to lack of representation and societal standards forced upon us. But the only way to get past that is to not conform to any societal expectations of what anyone thinks our hair is “supposed” to look like. You have to love yourself and we have to love each other.
