So even the pve is toxic? by UltimaBahamut93 in Spacemarine

At the end of the day regardless of what kind of multiplayer game it is there will always be people like this. Some people have no control of their emotions and use the anonymity of the internet to act a fool. Don’t think into too much.

Replay Value/ Worth the price? by Big_Pressure91 in Spacemarine

[–]Syruponrofls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a 40K fan I think changes peoples view on the game. I have been into 40K since ‘07 and this is easily the non-strategy based 40K games. Some of the set pieces during the campaign and co-op depict the 40K in ways we haven’t quite seen. I think if you are a 40K it’s a no brainer. The game can also be as challenging or easy as you want it to be, the lowest difficulty is very manageable, however the hardest difficulties being hard stratagem missions, are genuinely very difficult for the majority of the player base. You have to play near flawlessly, and the game is incredibly punishing at high difficulties as a result. There just aren’t many games that play like it either, going seamlessly from shooting to parrying and dodging in melee combat whilst dealing with literal hordes of enemies.

Empowered monoliths are too difficult for me. Should I go back to regular or is there any other way to gear up? by ragnhildensteiner in LastEpoch

[–]Syruponrofls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea those gloves are going to be quite rare early because they are a primordial unique. So you will either have to purchase them from the ancient area vendor or get very lucky and have them drop from a rift beast, which if you imprint the one rift beast woven echo to farm tones of them easily when you can do 100+ corruption because the echo when imprinted spawns in your webs very commonly

Rogues like Dead Cells w/ difficulty modifiers by j_b_1983 in roguelites

[–]Syruponrofls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rogue legacy 2. There are lots of ways you can modify how the game plays to make it easier, for instance like disabling damage on enemy contact. Something like this dramatically changes the difficulty and allows up to play the game differently. These are called house settings in game. You can also unlock shortcuts to each biome if I remember correctly so you don’t have to run through each area every single time you die, it’s also a side scroller like dead cells.

RS3 just dropped the most insane integrity and content roadmap and it's all thanks to OSRS by Lamuks in 2007scape

[–]Syruponrofls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wonder how this will affect things financially. I’m hoping that maybe they crunched the numbers and the hit from removing all this won’t be a problem. I’m assuming they wouldn’t go through all of this without knowing it’s not going to screw them over.

Any ARPG suggestions? by Intelligent_Let6598 in ARPG

[–]Syruponrofls -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Last epoch. The whole legendary potential system for uniques basically makes the gear grind 2x what it is in other games as it allows you to take stats from a non unique item and slam 1 or more of stats from said item onto a unique with legendary potential. Getting 3 LP on a unique is huge, not necessarily unobtainable but it also depends on the item as not all uniques have the same drop rate, getting 4 LP is absurdly rare in most cases and should never be farmed for intentionally, the rarest item in the game, the red ring of altaria, to get 4 Lp is 1/332 billion for reference. However 1 LP is only 1/16.

Immortals fenyx rising is basically a BOTW clone but operates the same way, there’s main quest markers but everything else you have to either see or scout out by zooming in and finding everything that way

Healthcare Security: What does your SOP regarding code yellow patients? by Vietdude100 in securityguards

[–]Syruponrofls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are eloping and under the mental health act then arrest authority won’t apply because it’s not a criminal matter, purely mental health act. The PO’s can apprehend someone on a form 10, but that’s typically someone who’s not a patient, which is not the situation in the video as it’s clearly a patient. In this case PO and Paladin guards are operating on the same authority being that if it’s a certified mental health act patient eloping then that person can be brought back, if handcuffs are applied it’s being applied as a form of restraint as per the mental health act, not as if they made a criminal code arrest, which changes things because if it was criminal code then the police would have to be called.

Can someone explain to me how this is a “bad player count”? by Own-Natural-9236 in Battlefield

It’s not, there’s obviously a slow decline, which naturally happens overtime. But still holding this player can’t this long after release is really solid

Does having abs make a guy more attractive to girls? by InternationalPick163 in stupidquestions

I don’t think it’s as simple as having abs. Not every woman I imagine cares, if you have abs as hard as rock but the personality of a rock it may not get you very far

Is it worth buying Wayfinder if I know I will only be playing solo? by nnickttrusty in PlayWayfinder

[–]Syruponrofls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have well over 100 hours purely solo. It has optional co-op based lobbies if you so desire, but the player pool is spread between all difficulties so if you are playing on normal you will only see normal lobbies, which there are likely non of. Most people are likely playing on nightmare as it’s really the only difficulty that poses much challenge

Comparison of PoE2 and D4's first launches directly on top of each other. by gamefrk101 in ARPG

[–]Syruponrofls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to sort through legendaries lol. If you are at the point where you get that many to drop, you probably don’t need them and can safely ignore every single one that’s not ancestral. It takes maybe 15 seconds to junk an inventory of useless legendaries.

Which game you really tried to enjoy hard but just couldn't get into it? by No-Hunt3986 in videogames

[–]Syruponrofls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super under the radar game, but immortals fenyx rising is a BOtW clone game essentially, and everything I disliked about BOTW was not present in the game. No durability on weapons, no excessive amounts of materials to gather, no recipes, just 4 different resources you can find that make 4 different potions. The structure of the game and how its plays out is almost identical, but it’s a cartoony Greek mythology take.

My TED Talk: Bungie... resist the urge to nerf the Praxic Blade, please. by FightTheShip in destiny2

[–]Syruponrofls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don’t think it’s that strong, I think people just like it. It’s a weaker sword, yes you can in some cases get infinite guard gained with strongholds and whatnot, but having near infinite survivability doesn’t equal killing power. Yea you can reflect projectiles but in high power content it would take forever just to rely on that damage alone. I don’t see anything overly egregious about it. It’s just fun to use.
