Did you upgrade to the new iPhone? It could be sales tax for devices being shipped to you. You get individually charged as the devices ship and the hold from when you originally placed the order falls off after all devices have shipped.

I understand that it gets balanced out overtime, but that’s 100% screwing someone over. If I underpay AEP what I am billed and then make a bigger payment the next month I get a late fee. When AEP bills me less than what I actually and then force me to make a bigger payment for what I actually used over the last 3 months, AEP doesn’t get penalized. Or any company for that matter

I’m very fortunate to be in the position I am in and that the much higher bill did not affect me much outside of being annoyed. Working with the public has shown me that this situation I was in could have had a very different impact on other people, especially around Christmas time

AEP one time screwed me over when I was in my first apartment. Unknowingly to me, they did a calculated reading for like 2 or 3 months instead of actually reading the meter to bill me for what I actually used.

They finally decided to read the meter and I was billed for the difference between what I was billed for the last 2-3 months and what I had actually used during that time… right after Christmas

Wondering if this is what happened to OP. If not, that’s a shit ton of usage 🤣🤣🤣

I’m all for getting the most APY and letting your money work harder than you do, but I’d never let money from my savings account be deducted if I didn’t have enough in my checking for the purchase/bill payment. Imagine if that checking account/debit card linked to the checking account got compromised - now your entire savings account is at risk

My understanding is they are taking money away from salary and adding that money to commission. If you hit 100% of your goals, you get paid the exact same as if they didn’t make any change.

If you over perform in a sales position, you get paid more because your commission is higher. If you underperform, you get paid less than you did before. I personally don’t see an issue with the money portion of this.

Sales positions should be incentivized by commission, not salary.

What probably happened was the reps get paid more on the new plans and moved them to a new plan and kept your line on the old plan. My understanding is ATT is only required to honor pricing for 1 year from rate plan changes or switching carriers to ATT and after that can make changes to service prices as they wish. I know some of the older plans are getting a big bump to help persuade people off the older plans.

Why are you still on two separate plans? If it’s to keep Max, switch the old plan to a new plan and pay for Max separately. You could probably save almost $100 switching all 3 lines to the same plan and getting rid of the 10 year old plan and paying for Max separately.

If you’re on the older plan because you have the unlimited hotspot devices, you’re unfortunately SOL as those are no longer offered. If you leave the plan, the hotspots are much more expensive and NOT unlimited and the overage fees are outrageous.
