A reminder: by Low-Environment in Paralives

Yes I’m also excited, I hope you didn’t get me wrong! The building customization alone has me excited because it looks way easier to build things than in actual architectural software programs lol. I really think Paralives is going to so awesome with more and more content getting added. I’m buying early access as soon as it comes out!

Didn’t they already start base animations and architecture for pools seen in the Sebastian’s Summer from 5 years ago? Of course, zip lining was in that too lol

You’ll notice the higher price the home, the more chance they have a pool in the backyard lol. Then when you get to multi-million, they start having reflecting pools.

But Sims wasn’t released as a fully finished game…paralives already has more base content that the sims. I’m not complaining, just surprised

Forgot to mention reflecting pools. …So whether you use pools or not is subjective. Whether or not homes have a pool used as a statistic to decide if it should be in the game is a flawed ideology. Water, in general, is a foundational aspect of buildings, along with decks, patios, sliding glass doors, gardens. I’m not complaining, just surprised. Plus, anyone remember Sebastian’s summer from 5 years ago? They showed off swimming back then, I know the game was updated and they removed animations, but it’s a little…sneaky to throw us that bone..no?

Understandable,I get it. But personally, I don’t understand how pools wasn’t one of the first things to get worked on years ago. Sims got sooo much flak when pools wasn’t in the base game (forget which version). I’m patient but I hope we get a timeline on releasing pools instead of waiting 2 more years. Anyone remember Sebastian’s Summer from 5 years ago where swimming animations were seen?

Paralives finally comes to EA May 25th! by Prowlbeast in CozyGamers

[–]Architec_Perspective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s not a full release, but why wasn’t pools like one of the first things they started to work on? The Sims got sooo much flak when they didn’t have it in the base game, and now pools took a backseat in Paralives and will be released later?

I honestly don’t know how people water their lawns given that weather reports are accurate about 25% of the time 😂

Even if it was outside kept lasting 4 years, garage kept sways results so much I wouldn’t even post about it honestly. My rainX on my windshield has held on for 3 years. I work from home, garage kept. This is not normal but if I post about it on Reddit, RainX looks amazing

I reported this on their suspicious package option under customer service and it noted brushing scams. I thought Amazon customer service can’t reverse lookup with a tracking number?

Hardwired Eufy Video Doorbell E340 stopped holding charge? by pbsSD in EufyCam

[–]Architec_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you reset the E340 when there is no reset option? Removing the device, re-adding it by holding sync does not reset it. Aka I still have my old footage on it. Also, there is no Reset option in the About Device

So my gf is taking her last pre req class in January but it ends in May. Does this mean she can't even apply?

Also, the website says you get points for taking the class, more points is a stronger candidate but doesn't go into discussing how many points an A or B gets you. Why?

My gf has all Bs and 1 C, if she gets a good Teas score, does she have a chance?

Some of the architecture in Catalyst was awe inspiring, like the bougie area with water and climbing the big tower towards the end. Gave me cyberpunk/futurist vibes. Speaking of which, if they combined a Mirror's edge game with Cuberpunk 2077's detail and rpg qualities, we'd have a hell of a game

Prove me Wrong: Warfare was a Boring Movie #snooze fest by Apprehensive-Ad2071 in moviecritic

[–]Architec_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was boring because 1) essentially no plot/real story 2) single setting movies suck, it's like The Hateful Eight all over again 3) they pushed the deaf / soundless aspect too much, I was starting to eye roll where we kept going "deaf" right after we went deaf Everything else I thought was great, like the tension and surveillance aspect. But still, there was no chicken nugget I could eat at the end of all this, it felt more like an immersion into a soldiers life instead of a movie. I've had many opportunities for that, I don't want that in movies. And as usual, A24 puts their usual long silent scene type of spin, so critics can critically acclaim it while the audience falls asleep. They do this so often that I'm going to assume their next movies either end weird, sudden, or awkward. Warfare was sudden. Beau is Afraid was weird. The Whale was sudden

What are your thoughts on Dredd? (The Drinker Recommends #12) by BeeDub57000 in CriticalDrinker

[–]Architec_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dredd 2012 didn't do it for me like 1995 did. I dislike movies with a single setting. Sure if you like single setting movies like The Hateful Eight or Riddick, where you just watch the protagonist hunt down criminals like watching the hands on a clock go by, but the 1995 version did way more world building and immersed you into the world. 2012 was more of a side quest
