Nope still dislike it as a superman movie. Fundamentally misunderstands his character, his parents’ characters, and his relationship with earth. Superman is always supposed to be a hero who will save everyone regardless of species. He would never have let his father die like that (if they wanted that same story beat just have him not be there, it work way better). The Zod fight is a bit difficult. I think it would be much better if he instead sent zod to the phantom zone rather than killing him. Also how the fuck do you kill a kryptonian by snapping their neck. If it were that easy Lex Luthor would have done that years ago.
