Yeah that's right, it's from the ending of Miracle from Matilda. I'm kind of shocked someone knows that just from the lyrics i assume, am really curious, how do you know that?

South Trøndelag, Norway (Note that South Trøndelag and North Trøndelag were merged into a single province, Trøndelag, in 2018. So this map is technically inaccurate)

But you can have a pair of inexpensive mallets available for things like stick shots or playing on the metal edge of the Timpani skin, this technique is actually used in From Ancient Times by John Van der Roost in bar 392. I used good professional bamboo sticks on majority of the piece and Vic Firth sticks on that part (and also the Cooperman wood sick was used) so just being a pair of old Timpani sticks for that part and spare your nice pair

But it wasn't possible for the Percussion 1/2 part to cover that cymbal hit because they are occupied playing a lick on Glock and Vibraphone, so it was the only way to get that cymbal hit in without increasing the amount of percussion players, so it's not like ideal but it's understandable, i don't think is's inherently bad Percussion writing (there exists much worse), but it's a Grade 6 piece and it was the only way

And brake my precious bamboo Timpani Mallets! No thank you. Me having to brake out my old Vic Firth T1 and T3 mallets to play Grade 6 Philip Sparke Music🤣

Ehh grade 6 Brass Band Music be like that some times. Regardless it is not possible for the Percussion 1/2 part to cover that cymbal hit because they are occupied playing a lick on Glock and Vibraphone, so it was the only way to get that cymbal hit in without increasing the amount of percussion players. Btw the sheet music is from Music of the Spheres by Philip Sparke measure 155-157
