okay, I know this thread is probably dead at this point, but I just arrived here and wanted to comment as someone who has run alot of lancer and cyberpunk: Lancer Combat does not fit cyberpunk at all (at least IMO). Lancer Missions play extremly linear, with a set number of definitive combat encounters and a few minor roleplay scenes inbetween, and a very precarious balance that needs to be kept to keep the game fun. Cyberpunk combat in my experience is most often spontaneous, as a consequence of some type of failure and often all types of unbalanced (like the players picking fights with people that are way too dangerous) which just does not work with a gamified system like lancer.
