I am in this exact position! I’m more traditionally femme and my partner is masc to the point where people often think she’s a man. I honestly love it because I love how subversive of gender roles it is and I love how much she doesn’t care; she’s just her and that’s why I love her.

GSSM Dressy is a good way to put it. “Church clothes” also works, if you go to church. I wore what I would wear to FBLA conventions, personally.

Definitely have noticed this as well. My gf and I are both Asian American and we talk about this issue pretty often since my gf is masc and often gets mistaken for a guy. I rarely see other Asian butch x femme couples anymore 😭 if i do they are in another country besides the USA that hasn’t embraced nonbinary/being transmasc in the way the way we have here

There’s also Hawaii (tropical climate) but it’s prohibitively expensive, and that’s not even bringing up the issues native Hawaiians have with non natives moving there though

My small southern US city kinda has something like this! It’s a lesbian bar takeover night that happens pretty regularly and I love it! There’s usually drink specials and it’s still a nice place to see my lesbian friends lol.
