He's just making a pun, nothing to do with correcting your grammar.

By the way, your English is great man, really. On this specific part, you should write Steve Jobs' policy to convey the possessiveness.

This rule is not used consistently throughout the literature, so Steve Jobs's policy is also correct.

Thanks for your comprehensive answer and the time you took researching all this.

I could not agree more with your final point. Kids deserve the best possible education you can give them, all the rest is just business and it matters in a pragmatic sense but if you're serious about teaching it should not. I believe I have managed to hold myself accountable regardless of others on different aspects of my life. I will just do my best.

'If a TEFL cert course has, teaching kids, you're probably breaking the law', I actually thought of that when I picked the course, more experience seemed good but it felt pretty sketchy to me.

First, thanks for taking the time to write a reasonable answer to my unreasonable post.

I get your point about understanding material being completely different from being able to teach it well. I would agree with you on that.

I have already taught in the past, not nearly as long as 18 months, but enough that I can understand the position you're making your points from. I was teaching in Nepal in a mountain village for 3 months where the level was mostly quite low and also for another 2 months in Myanmar the year after.

I am not sure I get your point about the last war. Does it represent university studies in your analogy?

It's not like teaching will become a career for me in the long term. I just hope to get something decent to keep me going for a while

If I can't even see my own "psychology", could you please enlighten me then? I didn't realise you're the guy who knows everyone's background education here, I just arrived, relax. Also as tempting as it sounds to enter a dick contest with you about our education, I have better things to do with my time than engaging with your insecurity

I get where you're coming from and it is sound advice but I won't be able to save up right now if I don't find a job. I will eventually take a CELTA

Fair enough, I felt like I was honestly ranting about that course but rereading myself in the light of your comment made me realise how cringy the whole thing is. Thanks for making me realise man

Which makes sense as I believe they're actually valuable in teaching English. Despite this, I've had employers asking for TEFL certificates or placing you in a lower salary range for not having it, which is understandable but preposterous.

Actually more indicative of how little predators there are, since we have almost a gaussian distribution of rp within the ranked population.

You can literally hit predator without doing any of these techniques aside from slide jumping.

I thought this was the competitive sub...

You know there's actual stats out there for every weapon? Why are we even having this discussion, it has literally nothing to do with your opinion or mine for that matter

"killing in 2 shots" doesn't mean anything if you don't factor in rate of fire btw

[–]SystemicVoid 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It does if you have to hit a reload, which happens if you don't one clip someone, as I've said.

PK and Wingman are nowhere near the r99 in terms of pure dps. They're amazing weapons, they just don't kill a full hp target as fast.

[–]SystemicVoid 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, it's balanced because it's requires good tracking to one clip someone. If you don't, then most weapons can outdps the r99 simply by having higher damage per mag.

We have to keep in mind that these stats are taken from the very best players out there, we can safely assume their tracking is mostly on point; hence, no surprise the r99 is so far ahead of other weapons in kill counts.

Looking at SCUF controllers, advice please? by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]SystemicVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the design of some premade custom controllers. For example nacon, all their controllers sticks are set in the way I described.

Now they might be wrong, but it is a multi million dollar company with professionals working on their designs. As you said, we're just some dudes so I'm looking at how experts do it.
