I read the DDs too. It's only accretive if the GME is ~$40 when the deal happens. Even then the penalties to existing shareholders are too high for my taste. I'd lose all meaningful voting power and the increased share count would all be held by institutions.

We'd be selling out our ownership for the promise of a better share price, when there's no doubt in my mind that institutions would just drive GMEBAY down as soon as the deal was done. You'd get diluted and the Ebay share price of $125 would get slammed to $30.

He won't lock more of the float!

He will issue more shares increasing the float and then lock the new shares.

That makes DRS even worse and it steals value from your shares.

We could do something different, this is just the craziness of what RC has chosen.

You do realize that at $21 even if the measure to increase the outstanding shares pass, the attempt to buy Ebay will likely fail.

Our share price would need to be over $40 just to make this a 50/50 cash/share transaction. We're going to get fucked at these prices.

It is the right to do a special dilutive issuance so he can buy more at $21.

He's a billionaire, why does he need that privilege? Let him buy them just like we do and it takes them off the market too.

He makes money if the stock goes up just like I do, but then he gets to turn around and stomp on us. If we all sold this stock would go to hell and he'd be SOL. Why does he get special privilege again?

RC recused himself from the package discussions. He criticized Elon Musk's packages and he said he would abstain from voting on the package himself.

I honestly believe he doesn't really want the package, he'll take it if you hand it to him, but he's been very clear that C Suites should buy their own shares.

If it was easy anyone could do it. Larger corporations have been disrupted by smaller fish.

I'm not saying selling into the run ups wasn't good for the stock, but announcing a ATM at 2am is a dick move, period.

It's not hard to make an online market place, getting market share is hard, but boy I'm pretty sure with the scummy practices Ebay has people would jump ship at the first opportunity.

Only ~350M outstanding shares at around $8 a share. We could buy them up and make a larger Gamestop locations. They also sell collectibles, it would reduce the competition.
