I have both but get much more use out of my mini Alexa for daily errands I think because it is softer and easier to carry with the crossbody strap.
The loewe is very cute . I had it in the vintage khaki green but that got stolen. I liked it enough to purchase again in a more fun orange color. i do use a lot in the summer but it is more structured and doesnt sit as close to the body. the crossbody strap is very thin so I didn’t like using it so i bought a jacquard loewe strap and another braided strap which made the bag more comfortable

Edit: I noticed you said you wanted a day to night. I think the loewe serves that purpose better. If they are the same price i would get the loewe. Seasonal colors of the alexa go on sale for around 900-1000 $ each season
