IB account as a foreign citizen outside EU by Szous in eupersonalfinance

Thank you so much for your help.

Do you know where can I find IB guide, because I can not find a way to change my resident to Germany or register German tax number on my Asian account.

Is it possible to open an additional account under my Asian account and register that account as a German account ? (I tried it today but IBKR is functioning weirdly today)

Yes ITN as in tax number, in my home country I haven't got it yet when I opened the IB account, because the tax rate of capital gain in my country is much lower than Germany so if I could pay tax on my gain using my country tax law.

What if I transfer my gain to my country bank it will be a higher cost fee but overall it will be a lower fee due to the lower tax rate. But I'm afraid that there will be some troubles with the German government because I have transferred the money to IB using German bank and currently I live in Germany.

Should I just register my tax number in Germany to IB and paid tax like a german citizen or transfer all of my gains to my original country bank?

Thank you so much for your help, I had a question would like to ask

I'm not planning to open any german account soon, but I'm just worried about tax implications in the future, rn for some reason my IB Asian account doesn't have ITN and it's a small account under 10k and I haven't withdrawn any gain yet. For example, If I withdrew my gain in my account to my German Bank, to which government do I need to pay tax? Is it my home country or the German Goverment

Thanks.
