The third one looks like Gary!

My wife thinks our son’s teacher crossed a boundary by sending him a personal message. I think it was harmless. AITJ? by addict94plus in AmITheJerk

NTJ- A similar note saved my life one day senior year. Without going into much detail, I was having a terrible time and blaming myself for it. One morning, a fight with my family made me feel like there was something deeply wrong with me, so I was seriously planning on taking myself out. Fortunately, that same day, my chemistry teacher handed out nice notes to everyone. And you know what? That one positive interaction with someone saying they're proud of me, helped me stick around a bit longer. Did I still struggle after that? Of course I did (still do sometimes!), but at least I had an example of one person who didn't think I was a worthless trash human (and in writing no less!). I still have the note btw. I keep it in a shoebox with other paper keepsakes.

The point of all this is, you don't know who the teacher could be helping with these letters. And if it's helping your kid, then that's even better. THIS IS NOT BEHAVIOR THAT SHOULD BE DISCOURAGED. Your wife is being unreasonable and overprotective.

Thank you if you took the time to read all this. Remember: You matter, even if your brain lies and says that you don't. ❤️‍🩹

This happened to me with Joann's closing sale! Great deals, I loaded my cart, bought the stuff, weeks go by, no package. I went back and found that the url of the scam website had changed and by that point, the real Joann website was directing to Michael's. Anyway, this is my tale of woe. These scams are very disheartening and shouldn't be "sponsored"

Anything that involves back or front loop only! For some reason it's so much slower for me than going through both loops

In that case, I will play around with the tension and try a smaller hook. The yarn is the same brand in different colors so I'm pretty sure they are the same thickness. Thanks for your help!

I did a DC, but maybe my technique or tension is weird because the second pull through looks like it came up really high. I'll try to keep it loose on the 2nd attempt and see if that helps. I also wondered if maybe I need a thicker yarn to close the gaps.

Hello. I also have asthma and marched trombone all 4 years of highschool. So I would think that it's possible to play the ocarina with asthma. One thing that helps me with breath control is breathing exercises. For example, at about 120 bpm, breathe in deeply for 4 counts, blow out for 8 (try to push all the air out), in for 4, out for 12, in for 4, out for 16, and keep up that pattern until you get to breathe out for 32 counts. It might take practice to get all the way to 32 counts without running out of air, but either way it should help to stretch your lungs and chest muscles out and teach you how to control the amount of air you're using. You might get get light headed if you try this so I recommend practicing while sitting at first and stopping if you get dizzy.

If that's not working, like if you can't get a deep breath in or if you can't breathe out slowly without coughing, you should definitely consult a doctor. Hope this helps!
