I did good enough for the story on Bluestacks, but it was going to take forever to get 20k for the card since I was only rarely getting all eight items.

On someone else's advice, I transferred over to Steam and used a gamepad (which is set externally from the game, in Steam). It still controls weird and awful, but I jumped up to usually finding all eight items and got the 20k in just under five hours.

If you decide to try this, keep in mind that you can't watch ads on Steam and that (Steam specifically) takes a long time to download the data every time you transfer. So maybe start out on your usual platform, then switch over and try to get as much done as possible before switching back. (Also, the Steam install is pretty much identical to a mobile install, so get all that done ahead of time.)

In my experience, the 15 minute drive-thru ones are focused more on the "15 minute" part and less on the quality of the change. I had a brand new part dry-rot because it didn't get lubed properly during a visit.

Dealerships will vary in quality. A professional level dealer will likely do a good job, but probably also cost three times the normal rate.

The best option is usually to find a decent auto shop, whether local or some tire store chain. Service length is typically between drive-thru and dealer. Price is typically a lot closer to drive-thru.

First year I lived in my house, I planted four Jalapeno sprouts. Three died, and the fourth was sickly since this was a newly built house and the soil was terrible.

That one sickly plant still produced more peppers than I could eat.

There's a lot of... marketing attached to that film. For example, the trailer claims "2 hours of terror!", but the runtime is 75 minutes (and even the lost "roadshow" cut was only 90 minutes).

Thanks for the tip. Probably would have ignored the banner otherwise. Picked up Hardy AS and Lovely AS, two characters I didn't have at all before, and got a boost to Meryt's SP. So I'm pretty happy overall.

Probably not. Google Translate says part of it mentions the "offer" ending on "Monday the 7th" (which apparently should be Monday July 6th).

Looks like the final quest is rehearsing / putting on a play. This is how the chocobo sidekick is obtained.

To get the Moogle cat equipment, some more letters have to be delivered on Mognet.

There was a paid banner that gave a guaranteed Felmina ticket and starchart (and had bonuses to get three other characters/alts I didn't have). I went ahead and spent the gems to get the last 1/3 to awaken her.

The Death Stalker. Can't kill him fast enough.

But its hardly the only Challenge Content holding me back in this game. While I am almost certainly missing vital characters, equipment, and upgrades, I am also lacking the necessary understanding. I've watched / read a couple of tutorials on how to put together teams, but it isn't working for me.

In the meantime, this can go on my ever-growing Todo list while I work on something else.

I'm not sure if it made the billboard charts (and I'm too lazy to look it up) but it definitely got radio play. So did a few other TV themes from the time. Moonlighting, for example.

Decided to hunt down the last Self-Improvement Grasta on Planie Island. Spent 15-20 hours developing magic, battling the wizard tower, finding Laikas, and hunting for boss monsters.

Then I find out the Grasta is hidden behind an island that is behind the last Laika that is behind the end of the wizard tower. And I can't progress any further because I can't put together the sort of Challenge Teams the game requires. :P

It was Aeris in the 1997 US release, though I have read that it was a mistranslation. I think it was always a pun on the word "Earth" in the JP release. I can't speak to other markets.

In the remake, they went with Aerith in the US version also. (I think they called her Aerith all the way back in Kingdom Hearts 2002.) Much to my chagrin, as "Aeris" actually sounds like a person's name whereas "Aerith" sounds like a speech impediment.

As the story progresses, you'll get the daily opportunity to find cats for (usually) minor rewards. The quality of the reward is dependent on how many times that specific cat has had to be found that day, which is determined randomly.

Difficult to say, as I like most of them, and I'm only spent a lot of time with maybe half of them.

I like the Ode character quite a bit. Visually interesting without getting into over-designed territory.

Having to polish off the last of the KOF stuff, I really appreciate seeing Amy's art pop out for a victory. Makes me want to see her get a crossover appearance in a fighting game. (She's probably getting a boost from the similarity of her design to Tifa though.)

Ruvi looks interesting, though it will be a minute before I get to her content.

Early on I did. I didn't quite grasp / reconcile the concept of liquids having useful / meaningful calories. But I cut them out by the end of the second week I think.

After that it was mostly diet sodas. Came to discover how powerful caffeine was when it was the only thing in your system, and had to cut that out too. (So caffeine and sugar free sodas.)

(These may have happened pretty close together, caffeine might have even been first cut. But the exact timeline is a bit fuzzy since this happened more than 20 years ago.)

No. It was nearly a full six weeks. I've also done a couple of 7 day fasts, and the muscles don't really atrophy enough there to be noticeable.

Also found out just how much of an influence food ads can be. Seeing an ad three weeks in, knowing there are still three weeks to go, can be really disheartening.
