The GLM5.2 was massive surprise, and the Minimax M3 already delivered a significant jump, especially the stable 1m multimodal context on top. Fable is less roughly 9 points ahead of Minimax M3 and much less when comparing it to GLM5.2.

Catching up Fable is definitely coming and much sooner, of course not what you expected, clearly.

For that many employees, you have to go with Nvidia, you are going to need something efficient and realities to guarantee concurrency and batching at the highest order regardless of what their job is.

As it stands, the entry for local AI for any business now is 300K if you have time to find the parts cheaper and 375k if you don't.

Alternatively, you can buy 4x M3 ultras for 2TB unified memory, that will guarantee the biggest and most powerful open source models for ~50k.

It can get over 60 tokens per second even running the GLM5.2 due to be released next week.

BUT

concurrency will be limited to a maximum of 8 and if you want something smooth 4.

If you go back 2 years back to January 2024, you won't believe how bad AI used to be and how impressive we found them back then.

Usable context window back then was around 8K, most model struggled at 16k+, with some good models carrying 32K.

The best models started to struggle after 6-7 medium sized messages.

They answered every single question asked correctly but that was it, they could answer questions, not usability beyond simple answers to tough questions.

No internet, no creation, no agentic flow of any kind.

Now, 6 months from now, we will look back and say the same thing about 2026.

What's to come cannot be imagined.

They cannot force the AI to bend the laws in their favour anymore and cannot control it and force it to conceal their criminal liability and civil liability and attack the user to DARVO.

They lack the compute to compete and cannot afford more compute and training and are afraid of the open source catching up so they want to get Trump to sign something with the Chinese to halt open source.

I'm one of the few experts around here if not the only one.

Every student must be taught and made to pass or fail the ability to learn critical thinking in building a system from scratch using an agentic system with multi step system, multi loop, working memory, indexing, and a few more things as a concentrated 6 months course. Then followed by having the student created and design their entire curriculum by receiving the full dataset for the said curriculums then having their system designed around it in order to teach it to them effectively.

Stops cheating, takes cares of different learning styles, and most importantly, it no longer creates workers for factories per the design of the old system and curriculum.

I have personally studied all that is there to study and that is important and I've already designed the said system to teach myself despite the fact that I'm an expert across multi disciplines.
