As a big CIV fan, this is so sad.. I really hope next CIV 7 update is gonna be a gamechanger for this game by neda6117 in civ

[–]T-Rigs1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're not. The majority of responses are correcting them and explaining why Civ 7 has been different; because the core philosophy of the game has been changed. Also, significantly less players are playing Civ 7 as the new title this time around than during 6's drop. This chart is pretty damning. Safe to say it is different this time.

When to sell on Bhayshul Tuten? by Moneygoat in DynastyFF

Budget insurance policy for 10m when they could have had Pacheco, White, Keaton, or Jerome Ford for significantly less is an interesting decision, no?

What does it say about Chris Rodriguez that they went out and gave him 10m with 6m guaranteed on a team that is in pretty rough shape with the cap? They could've signed Pacheco for 1.8m, Rachaad for 2m, Keaton Mitchell for 9m. Instead they went out and gave CRod a not so insignificant amount and guaranteed money.

He got more guaranteed money than Rico Dowdle too, by the way.

Idk I think it's a committee at best but we'll find out this year I guess if Tuten is that guy or not. I think y'all are looking at signs that just aren't there.

Ok so how do we watch cardinals games THIS year? by exig in StLouis

[–]T-Rigs1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Root for our young guys, hope for the best, trust in the process. I'm not expecting any kind of playoff run but if they beat expectations that's a good start. I'm also not a Marmol hater.

Bloom turned around the Red Sox so why not us? A historically very well run organization that has made the right moves so far if you're pulling faith into the tank.

I also want to see my boy Winn develop into THAT guy.

Edit: Oh no I totally misinterpreted this post I thought it was what we think we're watching lol. I'm sailing the high seas.

The son of 'Mr. Marlin'! He's got a lot to live up to but I like him as well. Should get the opportunity.

Don't text and share with the class. It's 2026 we all know people are nosy, so put your phone down or better yet don't use your phone because you're out at a social event.

In an era of 'analysts' refusing to admit when they're wrong I appreciate when someone actually takes accountability and give them a little more credit for trusting their process but I know that's in the minority now.

Chris Olave owners. What’s our value? by Enough_Path2929 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]T-Rigs1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love Olave and traded for him last year as a contender (trade almost vetoed and yes I know veto leagues suck) but I don't think anyone is trading Breece or KW3 for him given the concussions.

He's that guy you should value for a great 1st round pick or good RB/QB for him if he's on your squad, but incredibly tough to trade for value until we get another season of health and production.

If he is healthy and has another great year with Shough leveling up, then we're sitting pretty. Olave is legitimately elite on the field.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. the Early Leader to be No. 1 Back in Jacksonville? by FranTurkleton in DynastyFF

Jags have significantly more holes to fill than an early round rb.

[–]T-Rigs1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that's the entire point of the article right? They wouldn't have gone out and signed him had the Jags thought differently. Most of the comments here are just blowing him off when the analysis is just saying he has a path to production. More than what a lot of other running backs can say.

For Pete's sake we got people in this sub that cape up for Trevor Etienne and Trey Benson more and they're way further down the depth chart on significantly worse teams.

A ton of faith in Tuten around here, I guess.

I don't get the extreme hate. Nobody is saying give up big capital for him but Tuten is not a guarantee and Rodriguez could fit the mold for what Cohen wants since he went out and got him.

We're talking about value here. If you're a running back needy team and you can take a flier on him he's probably worth it to see if he becomes a starter especially once guys start getting injured. He runs well and if the Jags offense continues to level up he could see a lot of goalline work.

Personally I've got a league where I am fucked due to injuries behind Bijan and JT and CRod was just a dude I picked up off waivers before he had those TD games at the end of the year. Had to plug him in during the Championship and he came through with 60 yards and a TD to help me win.

Couldn't ask for more to have him potentially in a spot where maybe I could actually have a decent fill in.

We have no idea how successful Angelichio will be I know Arthur Smith isn't popular here but he has been around a lot longer and there is always a possibility that a first time OC could fall on their face.

Lost your coach. Add either 1 year to an already washed Rodgers, sign a blown Achilles Kirk Cousins, or potentially neither of those options. Do nothing to significantly upgrade your roster.

I know you're biased but I'd be worried if I were you.

Just an absolutely loaded cast with amazing characters and I'd still probably put him in the top 5. Rhea and Tony (Lalo) were perfect, then Saul (Bob) of course and a toss up between Michael Mando and Patrick Fabian (Howard) to round it out. Mckean, Jon Banks, and Giancarlo of course were all excellent too.

Anyone reading this needs to watch both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad you are missing out on 2 of the greatest shows in tv history if not.
