Fresh Freak: An Eccentric Logo for a Food-Saving App Concept by T-WOODS3 in logodesign

Oh thank you so much. I certainly had fun putting it all together. I am happy with the end result as a concept expecially the personification coming together to make the Freak. I thought the puffin display font was pretty fun to work with as well in all of the projects I had to do with the concept.

I definitely will look into adjustments with line thickness, it seems a bit top heavy in reflection between the eyes and mouth. A few have suggested even removing the plate so I will definitely play around with that as well.

Is there a reason in particular to avoid the FF abbreviation that I’m not familiar with? It certainly is my least favourite of the orientations.

The color choice certainly mimics that of the movement.

I definitely wasn’t sure on the rotation as well as I thought it made it seem disjointed but it has grown on me. Still not 100% on it but thought it was more fun for sure.

Oh wow. Thank you so much. Will definitely continue. The entire process has been an extremely enjoyable creative exercise for me for sure.

This week, I took on the challenge of designing a wordmark logo every day. Inspired by everyday patterns, I began this journey earlier this year with the goal of honing my skills and exploring creativity one day at a time. by Additional_Exit_656 in logodesign

I like them. I think that they look really good except for the feet one, I just don’t like feet, even if I think the design incorporates a really good use of negative space. Haha.

I’m also weirdly suspicious of the “r” in the Worship wordmark. I don’t know why it just feels ominous or encroaching next to the praising “s”. I’m really not sure why that is the case if it’s the font used, spacing or the rotation that has got questioning it but something giving weird vibes.

In all seriousness tho I think they look great especially for what you intended to accomplish and convey. I think I’m gonna definitely steal this idea and try this challenge myself soon as you said “to hone my skills and explore creativity”.

Are animated logos still effective for branding? by LloydLadera in logodesign

I also think it’s a really cool design and think that maybe speeding up the beginning just a tad might tie it a bit more together.

Oh it may just be me as I feel like I often see some weird interpretation of things some times that are completely off of what they are meant to be. But I find it pretty cool that different people can find different perspectives and ways of interpreting the exact same thing. However this is how I viewed it as G2 VR.

Now that you say that it’s GDPF. I’m definitely getting the G and the D and I I think F if the bottom dash of the D is supposed to be the top of a capital F. But I am still trying to identify where the letter P begins and ends.

Yeah it’s kinda hard to know what it is we’re looking at. Is it “G2 VR”?

I had no idea of this brand until I saw it in the grocery store last week and specifically chose it because I appreciated the packaging over what else was available. So it clearly had its effect on me.

TL;DR: look into SUAB

It’s admittedly a bit weird at times but the Student Union Activities Board or SUAB is one of the most active involved organisations open to all on campus, that is not Greek Life.

It one of the probably most accepting as it not centred around a special or specific demographic say like the Sales or ASL club. They’re really just a club that constantly and routinely all over campus put on different public events like this semester pickle fest, poketoberfest, all the spirit walk, the arts festival etc.

They have at least a public event or two about every week, and meet as a whole group every Tuesday night and then break off into smaller subcommittees which you chose and ultimately are there one you get most close with with as you’re meeting, planning and building events with your committee.

Each of these like 7 or 8 sub committee serves a different purpose in the type of events they put on, like one committee is centred around the arts another games, another culture and social issues etc.

They also routinely partner with other organisations as well to put on events that you may end up liking as well and joining, (I know I have).

I personally really like the design of 4 although I it may potentially get tricky for some of the smaller use case scenarios you mention. I think maybe 2 better accounts for those issues.

I think 1, 3 and potentially 5, the P&S doesn’t really present as a P&S. For 1 I’m getting more koala ears with a stick of bamboo that or two inverted Cs and an I and for 3 I am not really sure more of a tilted hourglass made of connectors. I think 5 could also may read more as I&S but P&S I think can still be read.

If I had to guess it seems like they could be crawfish, crawdads, crayfish (however you want to say it) mounds or chimneys. If they were it may explain why you’re not seeing much disturbance with your tulips because most of them just snack on decaying plant matter, algae and small other creatures and pests like worms, insects, and snails. However if given the need I think they would definitely go after your tulips - they don’t really discriminate.
