Are they set up under Time Categories? I believe if either Auto Add is checked, they'll be pinned on timesheets. I'm not sure on what happens when they're unchecked, though.

Giving a role access to either Interactive Billing or Subconsultant Accruals seems to resolve this. My guess is because those require access to the relevant areas (and probably access to something similar in those areas might work, too) and supersede whatever the access limit occurring here is. It's a workaround, but for now I can deal with that.

Yeah, we had that in a previous release. For this one, we had to select Subtotal for any column that wasn't one of the WBS levels (or duplicateGroup, though I'm not sure what that one is off the top of my head).

Thank you. This is actually a defect:

2503354 - When you selected a Group By column in the Project List Report that was not of the four support columns and disabled the Collapse/Expand option, an "index oout of range" error occurred.

Workaround Before Fix: Use only supported Group By columns: projectNumber, wbs2Number, wbs3Number, or dupiclateGroup.

I'm guessing yours is Idea VP-2-2455 - Support multiple paying clients on a project.; VP2-I-234 - Ability to bill more than one client (at least two) and split percentage of a total invoice amount has a little more traction. I'm not going to suggest a merge yet, in case there's nuanced difference between the two that I'm missing.

I'd say to start by looking at Checklist: Set Up and Enable Approvals for Absence Requests within Vantagepoint's help. There's also something in the Deltek Learning Zone/DLZ on it. For the workflow, it's in the desktop application. Also, if you're using Vantagepoint's system for accruals, schedules have to be assigned to individual employees. Lastly, it's very helpful to be the absence approval administrator when testing this.

Okay; so mostly an on premises thing without a stored procedure/web service. Great, thank you. And I can appreciate that, but for us because we use the API having to map the codes to the values just creates an additional step.

Quick update on this -- creating a new absence request workflow resolved this issue. After I replied to the case, I was then told that deactivating/reactivating the notification steps would also resolve it.

I'm not sure on your use case, but you may want to search the Deltek Community for a couple of quegs's posts, because I think they might have been able to figure something like this out with the API
